“Stupid, isn’t it?” She laughs, but the echo of the otherworldly howling that fills her nightmares chases her thoughts. In her dreams, she can never run fast enough. Never strike hard enough.

   ‘No, not really. It’s clear it’s a fear & I mean, yeah fears    are stupid, but you cannot call your fears stupid.’ That    might not of made any sense, but to Sera? Just slightly.    It was like her fear of ‘things unknown’, many did not    understand that.

She thinks about the wolves she sees in her dreams. Big, hulking creatures. Can they even really be called wolves anymore? No, no, she supposes not.

It is one of those rare innocuous moments when her words backfire against her, causing her eyes to widen from surprise–although it is not an entirely unpleasant one.

Hissra smiles, something warmer than the teasing smirk she can her before. Her random bit of playfulness seemed to have dissipated.

She takes her seat beside her. She isn’t sure what it is about Sera that puts her at ease. No, correction.

   She had expected something in relation to the war or the    hole in the sky - demons, spirits, the works. Once she    heard stress can do that to a person & she knew that    Hissra had to be stressed. Wolves though? Call her    confused.

Hissra smirks. It’s obvious the smaller woman is up to something, but she supposes, this time she’ll let it go. After all, there was a certain charm to her mischief. When Sera asks, however, she frowns and shakes her head.

   Expression had dropped as Hissra replied. Nightmares?    That could keep one up, she too had them ( sometimes )    but considered r a r e amongst the many she use to have.    Scooting over closest to a nearing tree, she nudges her    head to indicate for the other to take seat beside her.

She pulls her hand back, as if it burned. Guilt weighed heavy on her heart and she looked away. She shouldn’t have been so curious, so brave.
