So, I told ya that yesterday we drew a logo, our very own logo, and for today we had to “digitize” it using illustrator. I already had my first design done at home, so my second one was done at school which btw didn’t had much difference. So, yeah, That was basically it.

So, Sir Bob introduced to us Adobe Illustrator and “Rasters and Vectors”. 

Because it was the start of the second term, we had another surprised long exam. We did our own logos, the first one was just a panda head, and on the second try it was a panda head with a halo. I had fun. :)

I missed April 30, May 1, and May 2.

Last April 20, we did another layout for the City Museum but we weren’t allowed to search for photos in the Internet. So we can only use graphics thatw ere made by ourselves. And again, I sucked.

We didn’t have class last MAy 1 ‘cause it was  a holiday. *yaay*

Last May 2, we had our midterms. I didn’t expect that, the things Sir Bob made us do as our midterms, yet again, he’s the teacher. :)

ITMM Week 3, Day 4, April 29, 2015

Today we were told to design a layout that promotes our City Museum, but without the use of pictures from the internet and only personal graphics. I gave my best, at the beginning I had something on my mind already but after awhile, I lost it. *hays*

Btw, yesterday, I didn’t get the chance to post because of Rotating brownouts and super turtle internet connection. I am sorry, I hope you are not disappointed by this. *as if*

ITMM Week 3, Day 2

Today was just another typical session with Sir Bob, again it was a struggle because we were told again to do two layouts. The first layout is a new homepage design for our school’s official website, and the other one was a layout design for our college department.

My design wasn’t an A+ but I can see the improvements in my work. *yaaaay for me* But, unfortunately, I have only passed one entry. *awwww for me*

PS, Ateneo de Zamboanga University (AdZU) is the name of our school, and our college department is College of Science and Information (CSIT). This is just for additional information btw. Hhi.

ITMM Week 3, Day 1, April 27, 2015

Today we made a mock advertisement of a computer brand and product, of our choice, and it was extremely different because Sir Bob made us make two layouts. *Wooh* I only passed one. *awwwwwww* Because when I was to pass my second one and there was like 2 minutes left on the countdown before submission closes, E-class crashed. *sobs at a corner*

And now, I am freezing and my fingers can’t function well. Now I feel what my friends feel. *brrrrr*

This was supposed to be yesterday’s post but because of rotating brownouts and constant crashing of the Internet, I was not able to post. So sorry. *bows apologetically* PS, I’m not gonna use past tense for this, let’s assume that I posted it on the right day. *ngisi*

So, today, Sir Bob introduced to us the concept of “minimalism”, he explained it to us by showing the class some minimalistic posters of movies. It was a fun concept, and for our activity, we were told to do a minimalistic homepage promoting a movie. I chose Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I don’t have any specific reason why I chose this, I just did. Well, that’s it. :) Sorry for not posting it.  *bows apologetically*

We were told to do a home page for an artist of our choice. I chose Austin Mahone because I was stuck in the Last Song Syndrome so bad of his song, “All I Ever Need”. I enjoyed doing this activity but my creativity says otherwise. Why creativity!? Why?!

We did an activity again which was similar with yesterday the only difference was we were told to only use circles, and a triadic color scheme. And I sucked my work, again. Uggggh. *frustration comes in, again*

For today’s activity we were told to do a layout (using Photoshop) and to mainly use these three shapes, square, rectangle, and triangle. We weren’t given a specific theme, so there were no limits, no boundaries for the theme.

Because I am not a very creative person, (check out my “know me” page to further understand my “creativity”), I find my work disappointing. *awwwwww* so that is why I shall not be posting my work.

Yet, again, I am sorry for not posting my entry. Hopefully, I’ll be posting my nexty work. HOPEFULLY. :)

For today, we had a long exam. The exam consisted of the lessons we had for the whole week. The exam wasn’t that easy, or hard, I believe it was average (if you studied). 

We didn’t do much today because right after the exam we checked our papers and I got a 36 over 40. Yaayy!! *happy dance*

And we had this question where we were told to draw a 3-point perspective, and, to all artists out there, please forgive me for I just drew three roads as my answer. I am so sorry. *bows*

This should had been a daily update thing, and each day should have a separate post, so, this would be my first and last post as a compilation for the week. 

Monday, Day 1: Our initial class schedule was 10:30 - 11:55, I was so happy with my schedule because, I still had a 35 - minute break before my next class. Unfortunately, (but not really) our teacher didn't meet us, and someone just told us that he will meet us tomorrow morning at 7:30. I was a bit bummed with the "7:30" thing, but that's life, we don't always get what we want. Tuesday, Day 2: So, I was late. But arrived at the exact time before the test started, and, of course, I was late, when I got in everyone was staring at me. And when I sat down, that was when I knew there was a test and I was like, "se-ri-ous-ly? On the first day?". But, he's the teacher and I'm just a student. The exam wasn't that hard, especially the beginning questions but the last ones, those questions really made me think. The answers and the day's lesson gave me a new perspective on colors. The lesson was all about colors, and the color wheel. What really caught my eye was how Sir associated colors with life. I sometimes associate things with other things, but how Sir did it, it was really deep. And we also got some good news, well for me it's good, and bad news. The bad news, our final schedule for our ITMM102 is 7:30 - 8:55. The horrors!! And the good news was, we'll make a blog!! I don't know if my classmates find it as good news but I sure was excited about it. Wednesday, Day 3: *NO CLASS* *party emoticons* but Sir gave us a task, to do an about and home page for our blog.  Thursday, Day 4: This day marks the beginning of our lesson proper. Our first topic was, "Art101". Which revolved around the statement, Art is a Language. A Visual Language. It was mostly about art, (obviously) and its elements. In this topic, Sir Bob introduced to us the "fundamentals" in art, or in other terms, "the elements of art". The whole session was just a discussion of the lesson. Friday, Day 5: Sir announced yesterday that we'll have a short quiz about yesterday's lesson, unfortunately, I was late. *sad face* then decided not to attend the class and didn't get to take the exam. Huhu. Then, Sir introduced a new topic, "Colors" Saturday, Day 6: Because I didn't want to be late again, I went to school early, (like 10 minutes before the time. Hhi.) Yay for me. Then we had a quiz again about yesterday’s lesson. Good thing our classmate posted the lesson on our Facebook group and I got to study for the exam.  I got 13 over 15. Not bad.  Then after the exam, we just discussed what are our further tasks for our blogs.
