"Someone is feeling rather philosophical." Wylan commented, eyebrows slightly raised, though there is a small smile on his face. "I don't disagree with it though... Though it's not like I don't break my own definitions all the time." He shook his head with a bit of a laugh.

Jamie looks to their harmonica then back at the other, shrugging before they draw their free hand up to readjust the beanie over their head.

"Of course! It gives everythin' a nice lil -" They pause, bringing their hand back down to the instrument and pulling it up to blow a few notes in. "Harmoni-kick." They throw a wink in at the half-assed pun and grin. "I'd be down to provide it if ya like."

it doesn't take much to amuse him, obviously, but the pun makes him smile and they feel themselves nodding his head in agreement, unable to help himself. "i would quite like that ta'be honest. i'm sure i can write a song that would fit with the harmonica. do you like rock music?" he asks with a smile.

"we're a rock band," he tells her, puffing their chest, proud. they haven't been a band for very long, but it's clear he loves it. he loves his band members, too. each of them are unique in their own right and they're fantastic. Andrei, Jacobi, and Hela were all extremely important to them- and he wouldn't trade a single one of them for anything. "we're called Angel Paradox. after myself, if that makes me a little conceited." he snorts, cheeks flushing a slight shade of red.

      "THE BLOOD OF MY ENEMIES." it was easy to put playful lilt into her tone, passing it off as a joke even though it was a ring of honesty that she didn't often give. brows arched upon her expression and lips curled upward to follow, flashing her teeth against the bar's dim lighting. chuckle SLIPPED out, a rumble in the strzyga’s chest before forcing herself to still. she pulled her drink to her lips and sipped, though her gaze never left companion’s own, curious of any reaction; anticipating engagement with her supposed joke. "but i don't s h y away from the more... unusual meals. i'll take haggis or brain or blood sausage, all those organ stuff."

                     sure, the animal variety didn't carry the same flavor and energy that the human source might, but that didn't mean alina couldn't indulge. it was still delicious when prepared properly. "otherwise i also will eat a good stew any time of the year. one hundred degrees out? don't care, will devour a piping hot bowl. i make bigos on occasion." easy enough to prattle on about delectables. a demon who enjoyed cooking their meals wasn't unusual, but the blonde at least knew how to prepare more common specialties amongst the less abundant.

to say he was surprised would be a lie. Kazimir has always had a rather keen eye for the remarkable and the supernatural. now was hardly any different. to hear her speak so freely was amusing though, if he does say so for himself. while they've met a handful of demons on their own, rarely has he met one like her. he's fascinated to say the least, lips quirked up into the makings of a humorous expression. she's got him with that, though- she's gone and got him amused, not a hard feat by any means, but it's definitely meaningful when its coming from someone whom he's supposed to despise. it's no surprise that the nephilim is meant to dislike her kind- he's well aware of the fact and he doesn't doubt she's sensed it, too, but they just shrug with an amused clamor, taking another sip of his drink.

"you're a glutton," they say when his lips are pulled away from the glass, looking at her with that same amused expression as before. "not that that's shameful. i happen to think gluttons can be delightful in their own right." he takes another sip. "but i do enjoy a good stew, too. my partner- he uh, he used to make a good mean one before he passed away. haven't been able to indulge since then." there's a sense of sadness that fills the air then, pressing at their chest as he speaks about his partner, like an open wound. he shakes his head with a frown, banishing the thoughts from his head.
