The unaesthetic guide to look cutesy in the morning
So I do a basic night routine because personally if it’s too complicated I'm not gonna be consistent. I use micellar water on a cotton round to take off my makeup. For tough mascara i remove that first with the cotton round by using light pressure and wiping downwards on my eyelids then going through with a clean spoolie if it’s extra tough, then repeat until it feels clean.
Then for my cleanser I use the PanOxl acne treatment face and body bar. They also have a liquid version with some minor differences. Ngl I just prefer the bar since it lathers easier. I bought it from the local Dollar general but you can buy it from amazon or any drugstore.
Then I use a toner I made with clove water and apply it onto my face with a cotton round. Clove water helps with inflammation which can help calm down active breakouts. just let that air dry lwk idk if that does anything though.
For complex serums I usually stick to one at a time based on whatever my skin needs most. Also if you want to buy anything higher end i would recommend doing that with your complex serums cause honestly all the steps before is just prepping your skin for the serums. Currently I'm mainly using the Knours pdrn rice green tea serum. At the moment my main concern is making sure that my skin barrier is strengthened. But other serums I liked in the past were Good Molecules Daily Brightening serum and Byoma Clarifying serum.
For a moisturizer ngl I just look for whatever noncomedogenic/acne moisturizer on sale at ulta. Right now I've been using the Peach Slices acne oil free moisturizer. I like that hyaluronic acid is higher up on the ingredients list. I’ve been using it for a couple months and it’s been working fine so far.
