Jon: kind of uncomfortable but hugs like you’re dying and he’s the only thing anchoring you. Bony but the man is touch starved and enjoys the comfort. L O V E S Martin’s hugs
Martin: gives the BEST hugs. feels like you’re enveloped in a blanket of love, will hug you as long as you need. He is protective when hugging Jon, which is understandable
Tim: bear hugs, full of love and will sometimes pick you up and spin you and he really just enjoys human touch so be prepared for hug attacks
Sasha: mom hugs unless hugging Tim, in which she tries to one-up his hugs in intensity and sometimes you’ll find them hugging for 30 minutes straight
Melanie: doesn’t hug unless it’s Georgie. Then she hugs fiercely like she’s gonna lose Georgie, which is so valid
Georgie: soft hugs, slightly cold but nice, surprisingly comforting but also slightly awkward. Loves Melanie’s hugs and finds them sweet
Basira: doesn’t hug, it’s uncomfortable and she’d rather just give you a handshake
Daisy: also doesn’t hug, doesn’t like people touching her
Elias: doesn’t hug but when he does, he digs his fingers in your back so it’s more of a threat than a comfort. Will sometimes lean on someone in lieu of hugging
Plukas: really uncomfortable. That man is f r e e z i n g and does not like hugs anyways. You will be flooded with sadness and loneliness. Will make exceptions, but very begrudgingly
Gertrude: physically incapable of giving hugs
Gerry: Bear hug style if he knows you, awkwardly if not. Always hugs like it’s a final goodbye, which worries people. Even the side hugs exude that energy. Has concerned Michael more than once
Michael: When he hugs you, you feel what emotion he is feeling but also every sound, smell, color, pattern, taste, and texture he associates with that feeling. Happiness smells suspiciously like burning paper and cigarettes :)
Helen: Mom hugs to the extreme. If she likes you, it is very comforting but also a bit weird. If she doesn’t like you, she WILL partially phase through you so you can feel her in your bones
Mike: Doesn’t hug unless it’s a tactic to throw you in the Vast. But his genuine hugs? So soft and sweet. Arms around waist and buries his head into your neck/chest. Will accidentally shock people. One person has experienced it so far
Oliver: gives amazing hugs. All hugs are like it is the last time he’ll see you alive. He runs cool so he is the perfect hugger for when you have a fever. Enjoys hugs from a certain manlet
Nikola: extremely enthusiastic and lasts super long. Not sure if she’s genuinely excited to see you or just wants your skin? Less touchy if she’s excited to see you tho
Jared: good hugs bc he can form to best comfort you, may lose a rib, but as long as that’s a risk you’re willing to take, go for it
Jane: if she doesn’t like you, you will have an all embodying hug. If she likes you, there are no hugs bc she doesn’t want to accidentally infect you
Agnes: if not for the fact that she would burn you up, she would give very nice hugs. Very warm. Probably smells like cinnamon
Jude: will only hug you to crush you or burn you. She is the only one who can hug Agnes though, and it is appreciated
Simon: believes he gives good hugs but in reality he is just very enthusiastic about it. Thinks that the bigger the hug, the better the hug. That is not the case. Points for excitement though
Annabelle: a strange feeling, not exactly comforting but not horrible. Feels less like a hug and more like a wrap, and the hug is fairly light
Buried avatars: 100/10! Like a weighted blanket. Comforting and crushing in the best way
Breekon and Hope: only hug each other, but it’s very strong and you feel like you’re intruding when you see them hug
Anatomy Students: awkward at first but as they learn how to hug properly it gets better. Prime hugs bc they just keep adjusting until it’s comfortable
