if u want me to go into more detail ya gotta check in paitents and see if they r an anomaly by checking the cameras and the security cameras and close the window door (shutters) if they are an anomaly. if they arent an anomaly you treat them w medicine and if u give them the wrong one they die and if 3 paitents die u lose the game. if you let in an anomaly they either eat other patients or is chill (idk why either) shifts are the levels to the game and can go up when you heal all of the patients. (my highest is 20)

there are various classes and theres intern (starter class 4 new people), nurse, secretary, security, paramedic, psychiatrist, doctor (the goat), head nurse (cost robux), secret agent (cost robux), and surgeon. they all have different stats and u can choose 1 of them to your liking but personally doctor, secretary, and surgeon are the best options (if you have the robux, the secret agent is the best)

sanity is basically your health in the game, if it goes to 0 you die, and to replenish it you drink coffee or eat chocolate at the shop which appears every shift. you get a 180 second cooldown when you or another person drinks coffee spend wisely. certain classes can get you sanity for doing tasks (healing, checking in patients…)

reoccuring npcs (excluding patients) occasionally stop by the hospital.

barney asks for coffee and asks you multiple favors, and if u complete them he gives you another coffee machine. hes also a serial killer and to get the coffee machine you hide him from officer duckman, a cop goes to the hospital to search for barney.

ratthew (fav npc) drops by to yap about something and you treat him like another patient. later on in the game he temporarily sits on the counter to yap some more and also points out anomalies. if you accidentally (i hope) kill him while treating him he never comes back 😢

ron from accounting yaps. thats it. at least we know hes not an anomaly.

liz (other favorite i love her) is a former news person and asks you to take a picture of random patients suspected to be anomalies because the news doesnt believe the existence of anomalies (despite roaming around the streets??) i havent gotten that far but all i know is that if you take a wrong image she gets mad.

dr harlow occasionally drops by and unlocks the utilities in the game. once all that is unlocked he sits in a chair and you get to interact w them (there arent any canonical genders ingame except for the other npcs)

there r monsters ingame excluding the anomalies, there are hiders (grr) who are somewhat camoflauged and if youre near them they chase after you and you can either extinguish them w fire extinguisher, tase them, or shoot them w a gun. or you can climb onto the medicene cabinet and they eventually go away.

ghosts are the worst thing in animal hospital history. they appear when you kill a patient and they never go away— only temporarily when you tase or use the fire extingusher but thats really it. boo 0/10 entity.

monsters under the bed can be gone by giving them maple syrup

eyes on the ceiling can be killed off with eye drops but if you look at them you lose sanity

stalkers cant be killed and you eventually have to look at them

there are a lot of easter eggs and lore and other stuff but this is like the basic rundown of things yea
