Former President Bill Clinton:

“The other party doesn’t want to run against her. And if they do, they’d like her as mangled up as possible.

And they know that if they leak things and say things, that that is catnip to the people who get bored talking about what’s your position on student loan relief or dealing with the shortage of mental health care, or what to do with the epidemic of prescription drugs and heroin out in America.”

Regardless of everything that happened during the context [GOP controlled congress] and culture of the 1990s, the Clintons were a net-positive for Americans. 

And if there’s anything we’ve learned from the Clintons over the last 30 years, it’s that you want them fighting for you. 

Hillary Clinton’s policy proposals are the most wide-ranging, comprehensive, and progressive of any 2016 candidate to date [sorry Bernie]. 

Bill and Hillary Clinton left our nation in a very strong position. 

Unfortunately, the far-left destroyed our chances of building on this progress, sabotaging it by instead voting for Ralph Nader over Bill Clinton’s Vice President, Al Gore. Florida wouldn’t have been a toss-up if even a fraction of Nader voters had instead voted for Bill Clinton’s Vice President.

The left hates the Clintons and gave us George Bush. Just think if Al Gore had been President during 9/11/2001? Just think of how far we would already be on climate change? 

The left’s irrational hatred of the Clintons is rearing its ugly head again with Bernie Sanders. Liberals hate that the Clintons compromised and got things done within the culture and context of the 1990s. 

Granted, Bernie *DOES* have beautiful, consistent words. But can he build the infrastructure needed to change the system through the system? The Clintons have already pledged to criss-cross the country, building the coalitions needed from the local-level up [currently the GOP controls the vast majority of state legislatures]. The Clintons know it takes $$$ to beat $$$. 

Bill and Hillary Clinton have actual accomplishments and results due to playing and winning the game of politics. They aren’t perfect [no one is, which Bernie fans will soon find out during the debates] – but the Clintons are also the only couple that has ever had a shot at getting to the very top of the food chain twice. That, by itself, speaks volumes about their intelligence, determination, strength, and skill despite EVERYTHING that has been lodged against them since the early 1990s. Haters have always been hating. 

At the end of the day, I want the Clintons fighting for me, that’s for damn sure.
