This is Berk. A bit trampled and busted and covered in ice, but it’s home. It’s our home. Those who attacked us are relentless and crazy, but those who stopped them - oh, even more so! We may be small in numbers, but we stand for something bigger than anything the world can pin against us. We are the voice of peace, and, bit by bit, we will change this world. You see, we have something they don’t. Oh, sure, they have armies, and they have armadas, but we… we have…OUR DRAGONS!

“If you care at all for the well-being of these creatures, you will let us pass,” he said. In his own way, he was trying to defuse the situation. He figured that there was no way Phantom could get to him without attacking the animals, first. If he did that, then the Dragon Master’s opinion of him would be sealed and he would destroy Phantom, himself. He wasn’t going to risk the creatures by asking them to fight for him.

The Phantom sighed again, phasing through the two floors above him and out of the house. Who knew where the guy was by now? He decided to simply fly around and look, and maybe he would find him. Or at least maybe his ghost sense would alert him to the fact.

It was for neither of those reasons that Danny found him, but because of the sound of screaming people coming from the zoo. He sped over to see what was going on, staring as he noticed a bunch of the animals roaming outside their cages, and everyone’s screaming was not keeping them calm at all.

“Stop?” he said, “You would deprive these creatures of their freedom?” His glared hardened.
