āŗWhere The Grass Is Greenerā OPEN
All things considered, he was handling the shock rather well. If fidgeting was a sign of being well, then he was the tip top of healthy. Richard`s face was always outwardly calm, but he felt an antsy sort of shiver at the tip of his fingers, as though there was a very insistent urge to scratch when, paradoxically, nothing felt itchy.
The yawning stretches of nothing but green in Paralia were achingly beautiful, but their openness was shockingly reminiscent of their emptiness. Nothing was there. No tall buildings all stacked by each other with their bright white bricks, and all the well paved roads back to civilization were closed off indefinitely. He wasn`t the only one waiting impatiently at the gates that shut them out of Eden, so to speak, feeling the antagonized vibes from this petite stranger as she voiced the opinion that had been festering inside of himself as well. Oh, to be as outspoken about the circumstances. āUnfortunately, I have no idea what people are supposed to do in Paralia.ā A tone so apologetic, Richard almost sounded like it was his fault they were stranded here. Nonetheless, if he was able to help out someone else, surely he could forget his own selfish worries about being stuck here.
āPerhaps that`s their trick. They don`t have anything to do, so they make something upā¦?ā Oh. Well, he wasn`t very good at that either. So much for problem solving! āI can`t imagine how much you can do with grass and twigs, unfortunately. But we can try.ā
Despite her question being aimed at an audience, the voice of someone else startles the girl just slightly as her gaze breaks from the closed-off roads to meet the male's stare. In response to him, her lips only purse in obvious distaste. That was not the kind of answer she wanted. A reply so boring was only to be met with the blankest of expressions from the girl. His apologetic tone is noted, but it certainly doesn't make up for the fact that Rin is all but ready to pull her own hair out of her head as a means of entertainment. Truth be told, she'll accept anything at this point regardless of what it is.Ā
And that desperation is what causes her to sigh loudly and approach the stranger closely as if the two had been friends for ages. As she always does with strangers, she wedges herself right into his personal space and silently refuses to leave his side until she is content with her day.
"You're right, y'know. There really isn't much that can be done with a bunch of nature crap unless you're a tree-hugger or something. Luckily for you, though, you ran into me! And I know how to make any situation a fun one! It's one of my many good qualities."Ā
Leave it to Rin Kagamine to find a way to squeeze in a little bit of boasting in even the most dire situations.Ā
Before the male is given a chance to reply, the teenager is already circling around him like a shark cornering their prey and her small hands find their way to him-- her palms pressing gently into his back as she gives a small push forward.
"C'mon! I already have an idea!"Ā
