some people are like I'm too much of a person to be a woman

I've come to find radical feminism extremely frustrating

Most of it I see online is endless self victimization with limited meaningful engagement with how society actually works and why. Any engagement must only come through the victim lens or you will be condemned to the dreaded libfem bucket

Genuinely seems to fill the same emotional need that Andrew Tate and MRA shit does. I find it embarrassing for us and even more embarrassing is the self righteousness with which this behaviour is done as well as the ridiculous contempt towards most other women that comes w it

I also have a general values disagreement w a lot of radfem stuff, which is unfortunate bc radfem stuff usually assumes itself to be outside of value disagreements

Okay less annoyed now just needed a moment. I'm having a hard time figuring out what my place in all this is

I feel like AAP/AGP being left out of the gender crit feminist discourse is a problem. One of the main reasons being "unlearn stereotypes" doesn't work when your dysphoria/euphoria is genuinely sex and sexuality based

No matter how much work I do to dismantle internalized boxes and roles and expectations, men are always going to be devastatingly beautiful to me in a way women aren't. Accepting that this wanting may be something I always feel has been an important part of my desistance. Non binary shrug emoji

Basically I imagine the emphasis on gender roles and feminism is probs not super resonant to many unaware transitioned AAPs
