Is it possible to separate the art from the artist? What are your thoughts? As a Christian, conservative, who is very interested in political ideas, religious doctrines, and moral philosophies I am definitely in a minority in the arts. There are many people who have said to me that they would never support someone who has my views. It seems that for a growing number of people that wish to see people they disagree with shunned from society, banned from social media, and barred from public discourse. I’ve had people tell me that it would be in my own financial best interest to keep quiet about my views and perhaps that is true... it seems very likely to be true. But I believe in my values and worldview enough to sacrifice some possible customers if it means saying what I believe to be true and doing what I believe to be right. . I’m not hateful, I do not wish harm or ill will on those who disagree with me. But I won’t keep quiet to protect the feelings of those who are upset when they hear or read viewpoints that are contrary to their own. . If you’ve read this far you can ask me anything in the comments and I’ll give my honest opinion. Political, religious, scientific, whatever. Let’s have a discourse. . . . #conservative #conservativeartist #conservatives #christian #rightwing #takebacktheculture #creative #republican #usa #unitedstates #americanartist #patriotic #patriot #godblessamerica #freedom #artists #sculptor #sculpting #sculptures #andrewjosephkeith https://www.instagram.com/p/CRkvKrdrCI3/?utm_medium=tumblr
