Hiii i love your fanart soso much!! Especially the Kit ones, they're so adorable and i love the way you drew them 🥹💖
I was wondering if you make us a free drawing tutorial of how to draw Kit and other Gameoverse characters! Because I kinda struggle attempting to draw the anatomy for Kit. Plus the curves kept ruining me 😭
So pls help me and help us, thank you! No worries if not ✨️
finally finished this little tutorial 🥹❤️🩹

How to draw (according to me)
She looks so happy….
She has no idea what Alastor will do to her.
Or better yet what I will do to her :)
Anyways
How I Draw Char Digitally (Full Process)
I’ve had a few people ask how I draw digitally, so I broke down my entire process using Char as the example.
Let me know if you like this post and want me to do more like this 🖤if this post does well I’ll post stuff like:
-how I organize layers -how I crop for better composition -what I adjust at the end
-and any questions y'all might have I'd be happy to answer
I’m still learning too, but if this helps even one person start drawing, it’s worth it ✨
Step 1:
I usually sketch out either my characters or the the scene (or draw backgrounds separately so I can just directly import characters- makes it easier)
Fun fact this was the original Char character design I drew on paper
Step 2:
Once you have a rough idea obviously you start sketching it out. If you have a board tablet I recommend taping a piece of paper on the tablet to prevent the pen from slipping and you can create the sense of drawing on paper
In clip studio paint you can change the color of the lines using “layer color”
Step 3:
Go over it in black…
And once you’ve done that and erased all the blue lines you should get something like….
THIS
Step 4:
Finish coloring it in in black….. Refine all the lines
Another helpful tip that I didn’t do for this drawing specifically is to do outlines (for thick eyeliner for instance) to make sure your art lines look “clean cut.” Vary the thickness of the line for a dynamic and dramatic look 👀
Just fill it in for easy crisp lines >:3 This is especially helpful for thick lines that are difficult to draw.
Step 5: Color matching
I absolutely love color matching, sometimes it’s very annoying because I look at a previous Char post and think, “wait… Was her skin that yellow before?” Oops.
I have to go back and fill it in again.
Color matching is by all means not necessary but helpful either way for digital drawing to always have a pallet nearby (especially when mimicking a specific shows color pallet—things can get very weird very quickly)
Step 6: Coloring in! You can apply color more efficiently by using a clipping on the undercoat. I recommend color blocking since you’ve worked devastatingly hard to get those perfect lines, this will result in a “cartoon flat” look which brings me to my next step…
Step 7: Shading
You can deepen the shadow by adding another shadow in a light color to the basic shadow.
In anime coloring gradation really brings out dimension. Use cooler tones to prevent colors from becoming dull.
In a digital drawing like Char where too many shadows will ruin the “cartoony” look cast shadows are important (cast shadows are where light falls on the figures)
Warm colors on the other hand can be used to make reflective colors have a vibrant look. If you highlight with a little blur it really brings out shine! Once I’m done this my finished product looks something like this:
Messy sketch first. Confidence later. That’s the rule.
Don’t wait until you’re “good enough.” Draw anyway.
If you try this method, tag me. I’d love to see it :)
