Well we are certainly in for quite a ride with this tour if Taylor plans to continue to serve fresh versions of her looks. On Night 2 of Glendale, AZ Taylor switched up her goddess gown for her folklore set to this tiered, cream gown. The split sleeve details feel almost capelike, which I love. the flutter cap sleeve also feels simultaneously dainty and armour-like.

I think this could have made a stronger impact in a different colour.

The most direct reference to present Midnights fashion comes via this faux fur jacket - a designer take on the Free People faux she wears in the "Lavender Haze" music video.

The number of times outerwear is used as a method of quick change to impact the silhouette of a look (the duster added during her RED set) or shift the visual direction of an outfit (the Boss blazer added for "The Man") feels like a fun folkmore reference to the chic outerwear that dominated those visuals.
