Honestly, I have no time to be a bitch. Bitchiness just causes drama, and there’s plenty of that incoming daily as it is. It really is easier to be kind and to let things go, not in the sense of being a doormat -- always remain assertive... I just mean in the way of ”hey I see what you’ve just done, and it's not ok, but it's actually your problem and I’m sure as hell not going to let it be mine by giving it any excess thought or time whatsoever”. Acknowledge it, verbalise that you acknowledge the offence, pour some fricken sugar on it, then get back to work because you're a boss and you don't have time for that shit!

You might need to get a new haircut. You might need to lose some weight or gain some muscle. You might need some more suitable clothing. You might need to become more educated or practise a little more. You might need to work a few more hours at that crappy job to get the dollars you require. Whatever it is that you need to do to get every little scrap of self-confidence you can possibly attain, go out there and do these things! Build yourself up, become proud, become more independent. I understand some of these things listed might seem trivial, but if these are the barriers in your life - simple or complex, get them out of the way so you can move forward. ~aVx
