“Of course you do,” Kirsty purred. She pulled him in for another kiss.

“I have no reason to be humble.”

“That’s because I’m fucking awesome.”

“I mean, if nothing else I’ve basically got any and all forms of entertainment at my fingertips. Angel powers and all that.”

“Dummies attract dummies,” she dismissed him. “Also of course you like Jimmy. He’s a direct blood grandchild of your wife. You probably have to at least tolerate him if you don’t want Tegan to leave your ass.”

“I do everything in my power to block it out. I think if I didn’t I’d probably go insane.”

“What’s killing you? Maybe there’s something I could do about it.”

“Well that is a bit more complicated to help.”

“And I think an abomination such as yourself should learn their place.”

“They’re everywhere because of me.” Em lifted their hand from the ground, demonstrating to the other how all the roots were tied into their body. “Stay on the pavement, for starters.”

The young archangel hummed as Kai twirled him around, a wide grin quickly spreading across his face. Ezra perked up on his tiptoes and layed a kiss on Kai’s lips. “It’s good to see you.”
