Hiii sparrow, this is my first ask so like... yeah idk what I'm doing, but I'm so curious and, like, really surprised by all the little details in the backgrounds, like the graffiti around the convenience store that you can see when navigating it.
So yeah, I played the new shift as soon as I saw it was available and that was around 2:00 am, but I'm from Argentina so I think It was 7:00 in europe (yeah, I checked the time zones because I was so anxious/excited about the new shift)
And like, I will, like, say a lot of spoilers about the new shift but like, hear me out.
When navigating the surroundings of the convenience store and you, like, turn to that alleyway there's a graffiti that says "I see what kind of guy he is and I hate that you gave him attention." And like at first when I saw it I thought it was Biker Boy who wrote it, I mean... it was the most obvious answer.
But then like, doing his route, Mc learns that Biker Boy doesn't know how to write and, like, using my barely functioning neurons like came to the conclusion of Lane was the one behind that graffiti.
And it makes even more sense. Like, I mean, I don't agree with 99.9% of what comes out of his pixelated mouth but... that's very, like, I feel you man.
Like, I understand buddy, if some guy that appeared out of nowhere one day, taller than me, more physically attractive than me and mysterious, started, like... awkwardly courting the girl I've been courting for, like, weeks I would think the same, the exact same. Even more if I could see through his facade, thing that Lane supposedly does. Because he is "Different from the rest" until other man appears and then "We're all the same, I know how he thinks."
Another graffiti, if you could catalogue it as one, is the one on Biker Boy's bike. The one that says like "When I die bury her next to me." Or something like that, my memory is kinda blurry I tried to finish all the endings and ended up playing until 6:00 am jeje.
So that, like, graffiti. Is it about MC or his bike? Knowing that Biker boy calls his bike with she/her pronouns and has a girl name, as he is "On top of her" his words, not mine. But then like, when you do another route, when you don't ride with him, he then appears in MC's apartment and, maybe I misunderstood but like, he tells his bike he should've dumped it (her) in the river. But when doing the route where MC does rides his bike with him he like says he named his bike to feel company. So it's like... an unwelcomed company? It has something to do with what MC doesn't remember? The red thing?
Oh! and the red helmet, that messed with my brain like, a lot. Maybe because I was running on sugar and energy drinks trying to finish the second shift before the birds start singing in my window. But, like, MC's neighbour tells Biker Boy, that, like, a couple weeks ago another biker, one with a red helmet, used to bother MC at her apartment, and that Biker Boy should be careful with him.
So, or Biker Boy is also the one with the red helmet but just changed it after whatever traumatic event MC suffered. Or like, if that red helmet biker did exist Biker Boy just... disposed of him. And like, again about the helmet, if it is Biker Boy's old helmet, it obviously, like, is uhhh, broken, like it was broken in a crash, but then he says he never crashed, If I remember correctly he, like, said *He* never crashed. So, one, he is a liarrrrrrrrr and he did crash, or... Who crashed? Was MC the one who crashed? The original owner of the red helmet?
OH! And. The bike, his bike, used to be red? Because her name, the name Biker Boy gave it (her) is Scarletta, or something along those lines. And it makes a lot of sense, the red helmet, the red line the bike has, like, scraped paint and the name that means red. So yeah, he is the red MC is scared of. And I just came to that conclusion while laying down and writing all of this, jeje, jejejeje.
And I think that's all... If I have more crazy theories and if I'm welcome to, like, speak my tangled mind here I might send another ask.
On another topic, I scrolled down on here and enxountered the BikerBoy-And-MC-Daughter thread, I'll take a look at that, it seems interesting.
And to finally wrap it up. Sorry for the looooong text and for the overuse of the word "like" it's the closest word to the modism I use in spanish, and I, like, use it a lot. I should add a "like" counter.
