Social Identity is the identity that project to our peers and the world around us, but that may not necessarily be a true reflection of ourselves. In the modern age of technology and social media, it has become easier and more common to project ourselves as a different person behind a screen. The reasoning for people to do this is because we feel more socially accepted by society to conform or change how we think and show ourselves to other people.
