I see why people talk about this encounter.
It just makes you want to scream and throw up and rip up every single Spider-Man movie. Because there is not a single Spider-Man movie about a 15 year old who would believably
1) Read about a superhuman group of science-adventurers who are highly controversial but becoming media darlings
2) Needs to make money to provide for his sickly Aunt who has taken care of him out of crippling guilt complex for killing his own uncle
3) Decide that the best way to do this is to break into their home, beat the shit out of them, and then say "that proves you should hire me"
And that's like. The best character ever made. I fucking love this guy. Everything is his fault and he gets cunty about it
Wait. "Any profit we make goes into scientific research." What profit? Who's paying the Fantastic Four? Do they get grants? What is happening.
