Dormancy can be very traumatic AND you come back to a life that’s changed so much that it doesn’t feel real

Main fronters (or “hosts”) haven’t always been around since the system was created. There is no “realest one” and no “original ones”

I mean I know, I’m not delusional, but they still hurt so that’s not helping

Communication goes a long way but is a lot of work, be kind to yourselves!

To quote ‘that one alter’ in our system: “I did not go through all that trauma to not be funny”

Be kind to yourselves, amnesia from childhood trauma doesn’t only mean you forgot traumatic memories. It also means you’re missing a lot of memories of pretty important things that you’re expected to have learned during those times.
