It’s been awhile Dear Evan Hasnen fandom hasn’t it? how y’all doing?

-Treebros: You like to pretend canon does not exist

-Kleinsen: You’re a sucker for the trope “pining” and “unrequited love”

-Galaxy Gals: You probably ship everything, but you didn’t want to leave zoe and alana out of the fun

Seriously, this is SUCH a fantastic ship and we barely get any content!!!

I’m not here to attack treebros (even though there’s a lot I would say to protest it), but why is the majority ship??? Not even just that, it’s the majority FOCUS of the fandom! Seriously, you look up Dear Evan Hansen and you WILL see some treebros content within the first few seconds of scrolling, its a guarantee. It’s not the subject of the musical. It’s not canon. But it’s literally everywhere.

I’m not saying I want kleinsen to be that way. I’m saying the musical should be the musical and the ships should be the ships. The musical’s subject should be respected as is. It’s a wonderful story and should be appreciated for what it is, not what our ships make it.

Anyway: KLEINSEN. It deserves more attention. It’s such a strong dynamic for so many reasons and I feel like a lot of the reason it’s overlooked is the way people look at Jared’s character. Stop that. He’s a 3D character.
