📝 Tutorial: Tag your CC objects using titles like a PRO ✨

This short and easy peasy tutorial will teach you how to hide text in the title of an object in the catalog. Why? As you may know, a lot of CC creators “tag” their items by including their name and/or the set name in the titles of their objects, so people can filter the catalog easily when using the search bar.

Exemple: Exhibition set - Standing label - MLys

In this exemple, people can find the object by searching the tag words “MLys” or “Exhibition”. Cool! But that title looks long and not really aesthetically pleasing right? Now what if I told you that you can keep those tags hidden? 

All you have to do with Sims4Studio is: write your actual title, put the “|” caracter right after, add a space, and write all the tag words that you want hidden (separate each tag with a space).

As you can see above, if you look for the the word “Pufferhead”, the result will give you all the objects from the Pufferhead pack, even if their title don’t include that word!! (but we both know that they secretly do *wink*)

The tag possibilities are endless without worrying about the aesthetic! If you are motivated enough, you can use this technique on all the bb CC you own, with the tags that personally suit you. On the picture above, I’ve tagged the item with the name of the CC creator @litttlecakes + a theme tag.

WHAT IS A RUT?A rut is basically an alpha’s equivalent to an omega’s heat, except they don’t go through them every month! Alphas will go into rut when the omega they’re bonded to goes into heat, so alphas who are bonded to betas and other alphas won’t go into rut. Their rut will last as long as their mate’s heat. Most alphas will experience rut-like symptoms at least once for a few days during puberty

Ok so, many years ago in the deep dark recesses of fanfiction.net (or maybe it was AO3? It could have been Wattpad tbh) someone wrote a fanfic (I think it was Supernatural or Teen Wolf or something) where one character was an alpha, who went through ruts and had scent glands and the other was an omega, who was dependent on the alpha, and went through heats and was submissive

Dynamics

There are three dynamics that are generally accepted (I say this because some people add in gammas and deltas and zetas, and these can adhere to any headcanons you want, because they’re unusual and vary greatly)

Alpha

Alphas are generally accepted as the dominant, strong fighters, much like the hyper masculine image that is forced on men. They can be tall and lean, or short and muscular. Both male and female alphas possess a penis and a knot. Female alphas have the ability to retract their penis, and although they possess a vagina, they aren’t able to get pregnant or menstruate. Alphas will go into ‘rut’ (which can be triggered, or a monthly thing, depending on your headcanons). My personal headcanons are that alphas go into rut when the omega they’re bonded to goes into heat, and most alphas will experience rut-like symptoms during puberty

Beta

Betas are the closest to actual human in omegaverse. Male betas are able to impregnate betas and omegas, and female betas are able to be impregnated by alphas and betas. They sometimes get the short end of the stick, and are there just as mediators because some say they have bad senses of smell, and are there for more level-headed and aren’t affected by scent the way alphas and omegas are. I disagree with this COMPLETELY because it’s very unfair. I think betas have a far better sense of smell, and just aren’t evolutionarily programmed to respond to scents the same way omegas and alphas do. Betas tend to be the least aggressive/emotional of all the dynamics, and are a calming presence on both alphas and omegas

Omega

Depending on your headcanons, omegas are generally put into two different categories: submissive and weak, or powerful and revered. Both male and female omegas go into ‘heat’ every month, which is a period of 3-6 days where their scent becomes sweeter, they become more physically appealing, and they become incredibly fertile. Some headcanons state that the scent of an in-heat omega drives an alpha crazy and leaves them almost unable to stop themselves from mounting and knotting the omega right there and then. I disagree with this. I think instead that an alpha can tell the difference between an in-heat omega and an out of heat omega, recognise that the scent is pleasant, and move on. Both male and female omegas have a uterus (the males’ uterus lies flush against his stomach, and is accessible through his anus). Male omegas are unable to impregnate other omegas, or female betas. 

Some useful terminologyKnotting

Knotting it what alphas will do during sex with an omega. At the base of an alpha’s penis is a ‘knot’ (like a dog penis). This knot locks into the omega when the alpha orgasms, and keeps them locked together for a duration of time (anywhere between 5 minutes and an hour; it changes depending on your headcanons)

Scenting

All dynamics possess scent glands on the trapezius muscle (the junction between your shoulder and neck) the inside of their wrists, and their inner thighs. Scenting something is done by rubbing your scent glands over it to spread your scent over it. Dynamics will do it to clothes, blankets, their mates, and basically anything that they want other people to know is theirs

Bonding

Bonding is done during sex by biting the scent gland at the trapezius muscle. The bite has to be hard enough to break the skin, and it’ll basically bond the two people together (so it’s a bit like marriage but on a biological scale). The bite mark will scar over and will always be visible to the naked eye

Nesting

Omegas build nests. Depending on your headcanons, they can build nests just when they’re in heat, or when they’re pregnant, or just whenever the hell they want to. A nest is a small area (like a bed, or a closet) filled with blankets, clothes, pillows and stuffed animals that is just a nice, soft place for the omega to lie and sleep. Omegas get very protective of their nests, and usually only close friends, mates and close family members will be allowed in. The items used in a nest will sometimes be scented by the individual’s mate, if they have one

Mates

When two people get into a relationship, they will be considered ‘mates’. It doesn’t matter whether it’s an alpha and an alpha, or a beta and an omega, or an omega and an alpha, they’re called mates. If they’ve bonded to each other, they’re known as ‘bonded mates’

Alpha

Alphas tend to be territorial, possessive, and aggressive. They are generally physically and emotionally dominant and are likely to be the leaders, bread winners,

Anatomy

Female - Female alphas tend to be bigger than their counterparts in bulk and height. They are usually more muscular and have more physical strength. They differ from beta and omega females in that they have a penis in addition to a vagina. They are capable of giving birth though most choose not to as society tends to consider them weak when they do.

Male - Male alphas tend to be bigger than their counterparts in bulk and height. They are usually more muscular and have more physical strength.

Beta

Betas tend to vary more in personality than alphas and omegas but in general are more even tempered and clear headed. Though they are affected by the scent of alphas and omegas in rut or heat their reactions tend to be less extreme and their urge to procreate is considerably tamer.

Anatomy

Female - Capable of giving birth.

Male - Not capable of giving birth. They tend to be physically smaller than alphas but bigger than omegas and beta females.

Omega

Omegas are stereotypically submissive and gentle creatures. They tend to fall more heavily in the category of homemaker, caretaker, and child bearer.

Anatomy

Female - Omegas males tend to be smaller in height and bulk than their counterparts and have more difficulty putting on muscle mass.

Male - Omegas males tend to be smaller in height and bulk than their counterparts and have more difficulty putting on muscle mass. They are capable of giving birth and capable of impregnating others though it is less likely.

Delta

Deltas are a genetic anomaly that many doctors consider to be a result of the radiation our ancestors experienced. They are born with an anatomy identical of that of a betas but have an off-putting scent that immediately ids them as Delta. Unlike other genders they do not ‘present’, their gender is known from birth and they are completely sterile.

You can ask how long it will take for the pizza to get to you, and they will tell you how far away a dispatcher is.

My flat-mate’s date for the night was almost as drunk as her.  She had passed out in her room and locked the door.  He refused to leave because he wanted to have sex.  He also demanded food because he was dealing with “whiskey dick”.  He didn’t like the lack of food in the fridge.  I called 911, did the stuff stated above, and he was getting PISSED about how long the “order” was taking.  He took my phone, demanded they “hurry the fuck up”.  Police arrived two minutes later, arrested him, and helped me file a police report.  Pressing charges wasn’t necessary because he had warrants on him from THREE different states for the very thing he planned to do to me.  Several months after this happened one of the officers informed me he was charged with two felonies because he crossed stay lines, and will be serving no less than 35 years in prison.  The officer ripped into my flat-mate about her bringing home complete strangers, while drunk, knowing full well this shit could happen. 

This was 14 years ago.  

Do the pizza order, do it as calmly as you can.  The dispatcher I spoke to said things like this:

“If he’s drunk say you want mushrooms.”  I said I want extra mushrooms.

“If he’s threatening you with sexual assault say you want onions.”  I said I want onions.

She went like this with different toppings and sauces for a description of him, like pineapple if he’s blonde, black olives if he’s tall, extra large if he’s tall, etc.

As I’ve just about finished up the routes for 2/5 of the girls, I felt the need to come on here and make a post about this.

Katawa Shoujo is a dating game/visual novel made by Four Leaf Studios. To the best of my ability, I’m not going to give away any spoilers in this impromptu promotional post, but the basic premise is this - The protagonist, Hisao Nakai, has a heart attack and, after being diagnosed with arrhythmia, is sent to a school for the disabled, where he can romance one of five girls. Maybe.

Now, the premise may not seem mind blowingly awesome, but let me explain a thing to you. This is an amazing game. The writing is top notch. You’re gonna cry your eyes out and laugh your ass off. Our protagonist is not just a self insert; he has a lot of character development and thoughts unrelated to the girls. And each of the girls you can choose - They’re seriously well written. They are not their disabilities, they’re people, and so, so relatable. Just to really drive this point home:

The music? Top notch. The art? Top notch.
