What about two characters going on dates which are not actually dates. Oblivious idiots going all date-y things without even realising
List of âoblivious idiots going on dates with each other without realising theyâre datesâ promptsÂ
Going ice-skating together, with Character A clinging onto Character B because they donât want to fall onto their asses again; they end up losing their footing and pulls Character B down with them, and they land in a heap on the floor. They stare at each other, then burst out laughing. They probably look like idiots, but theyâre too wrapped up in each other to care.Â
Picnicking together in a spot where couples usually picnic together. âWeâre defying the norms,â Character A says while being all snuggled up in Character Bâs comforting embrace.
Study sessions at a cafĂŠ where they both donât actually study but mess around with each other while trying something new on the menu. It becomes a weekly routine for them, until theyâve exhausted the menu, so they find another cafĂŠ to do this at.Â
The weather ruins their plans, but itâs fine â they have a Netflix subscription, and either of their beds are comfortable to snuggle in.Â
A walk in the park, holding hands; sitting on a bench, leaning against each other and enjoying each otherâs presence. âItâs a little cold,â Character A murmurs as the breeze brushes past them, and Character B shrugs off their jacket and drapes it over Character A. âBetter?â they ask, and Character A nods, eyes drooping slightly. âMuch better,â Character A says.Â
Going to a movie theatre together but instead of watching the movie, Character A uses this time to get lost in staring at Character B. When Character B turns to look at them, Character A smiles. âYouâre really pretty,â Character A says, smile only widening when the light from the screen illuminates Character Bâs warmed up cheeks.Â
Going to an art gallery and making up back stories for the arts they come across. âThose two,â Character A says, pointing at a particular piece of art. âThey kind of resemble us, donât they? I mean, first of all, they look good together.âÂ
Riding the ferris wheel together at the amusement park, with Character A clinging onto Character B the whole time, their face buried in their neck because theyâre scared of heights (even though they kept insisting that they arenât when Character B told them it would be fine to skip out on this ride).Â
âThis haunted house thing is the worst idea you could ever have,â Character A hisses, clutching onto Character Bâs arm. âYou didnât have to come with me,â Character B says, using this as an excuse to wrap their arm around Character Aâs waist. They glance at Character A, adding, âStay close to me and it will be fine.âÂ
âThis feels like a date.â âExcept itâs not.â ââŚYeah, youâre right.âÂ
uh oh iâm in love prompts
that moment when your character realizes theyâre in love :) feel free to use.
theyâre dancing together and character a has been feeling it creep up on them for a while, so when character b slips on air and falls, character a softly thinks oh. i love this person
your characterâs friend pulls your character aside around the midway point of your story and says âhey i like themâ and then your main character is gripped with such a violent dread that thatâs when they realize theyâve been in love the whole time
third character goes âwhy do you care?â and they just go âbecause i just do.â âbut why?â and then boom accidental confession OR â
third love interest screams it at them and then theyâre like oh i guess i do love them haha awkwardddd
character a didnât know it either, until they were in a screaming argument with character b and they scream âyeah, but i love you!â
itâs something small, the most small thing theyâve done. maybe they gave them a smile across the room, or left a little note on their locker, but the character just thinks yeah. iâm screwed
your main character is going on a walk and thinks of buying something for their love interest and then theyâre like oh yeah i definitely love them
theyâre talking regularly and character a stops the conversation and goes âwait wait wait. i think⌠i love you.â and character b is like âwhat?â
character a is getting nursed back to health when they realize theyâre in love with the person nursing them to healthâ or, that they in fact love someone else
your character has to witness their love interest with someone else and then goes oh.
your character is thinking back to the relationship years later and realizes what real love was now that theyâve lost it
your character visits their love interestâs grave for the first time since their passing
How about Alphas being all fatherly?? I NEEDS the hcs ~ Dy
Ellllooooo, I gotcha boo.Â
- alpha encouraging their kids to make things
- ^ alpha tearing up a little bit when their little pup comes up to them with macaroni art and finger paintsÂ
- they insist that their kids come up to them for homework helpÂ
- father/mother (whatever you call the alpha parent) has a day out with the pups, so that means breakfast out, zoo/aquarium, or to the mall
- ^ they are super excited to take their kids out. Iâm talking so excited that they are looking forward to matching outfits/shirts
- they are prepared down to the slightest inconvenience with snacks, clothes, and first aid.Â
- one of their kids come home sad and teary-eyed and the alpha nearly goes feral because their little one is hurt/sad/etc., but they calm down enough to talk to their pup and figure out whatâs upsetting themÂ
- take your kid to work day, alpha will be more than happy to bring their babies. showing them off to everyone âhey karen!! look at my kids! arenât they the cutestâÂ
- alpha being proud and overwhelmed when one of their kids does something that they are notorious for doing
- the alphaâs mate is pregnant and the alpha goes overboard with buying cute onesies, toys, furniture because they are so ready for their little one to come outÂ
- alphas insisting that they scent their pup(s) before they leave to go to school or hang out with friends and embarrasses them lightly before they go to what they said (got this from the animated Spiderman trailer, lol)
- alpha bringing home little treats for their pups, sneaking it to them to make sure that their mate doesnât find out about itÂ
- alpha baby talks to their kids all the timeÂ
- pup climbing on top of the their alpha parent and cuddling them as they are sleep, alpha then curls up around themÂ
- alpha pretending to be asleep or dead and then getting up to capture their pup as soon as they walk by them or check up on themÂ
- alpha/pup dance, this is so precious. fite me if you think otherwise, Iâll murder youÂ
- ALPHA AND PUP(S) TEA PARTY!! ROT IF U DONT THINK THIS IS CUTEÂ
- pup is older now but had a bad day, so the alpha takes them out or does something that the pup use to like when they were younger to make them feel better
- alpha crying when their baby says their parental titleÂ
This is all I got. đ
THIS IS ADORABLE
Can an omega be forced into heat? How?
Finding Their True Mate: When an omega finds their âtrue mateâ or âtrue alphaâ they will immediately go into heat. The alpha will also usually go into a rut, but it will be more delayed than an omegaâs heat.
Their Mate Being in Rut/Heat: If their mate is in heat/rut, thereâs a good chance that either theyâre synched up enough that itâll just throw them into heat. Usually smelling a mate in heat/rut is enough to speed up their own.
Medically Inducing: If a couple wants to get pregnant and is having a hard time synching up with each other or the omega is having a hard time going into heat, there is an injection they can get to speed up the process.Â
Unfortunately, these drugs are often used illegally on omegas to make money in sex slave/prostitution businesses.Â
Arousal: Sometimes omegas are simply aroused into heat. It doesnât happen often, but itâs also not impossible. It usually happens to teenagers more often than not.

Where to get resources for teaching yourself a language:
I'm just starting to do this myself now! My French classes got cancelled and I'm trying to pursue my study of the language outside of school. This is the stuff I've discovered so far, I'll make more posts later as I gain more knowledge.
- Second hand bookstores usually have some pretty awesome resources. You are likely to find dictionaries, textbooks and phrase books. My local has french, indonesian and english textbooks and dictionaries.
- Bilingual dictionaries are also available online. Here's my fav: the Collins dictionary
- Apps are a good tool for learning a language. I personally don't use an app but I've heard that Duolingo, Babbel, Mondly and Drops are good.
- Watching movies in another language with the subtitles of your native language is one of the best ways to pick up on words and phrases while training your ear to understand the language.
- Websites like Sporcle have quizzes for learning a language and learning the vocab for specific categories, like foods.
- YouTube is an underrated resource. There are heaps of videos on pronunciation and common words and phrases.

Do you know these times when youâre sitting in front of your textbook, trying to learn these boring af vocabs youâve seen 1000 times but still canât remember and just wish to do something different (or hoping that the world explodes so you can at least stop)?
Well, there are more ways to learn a language and I think because we just learned how we âshouldâ learn a language at school, weâre limited in creativity. Thanks to school itâs hard to think outside of this âtextbook, vocab lists, tests, etc.â stuff but there are ENDLESS things you can do to learn a language.
Remember: everything you do in your native language, you can try to do in your target language!
This is for all the people who are tired and exhausted, who are thinking about quitting or donât have fun with their target language anymore.
DONâT YOU DARE TO GIVE UP! YOUâVE COME SO FAR!
_____________________________________________
Examples for different ways of learning a language:
write a diary
summarise an article about a topic you like (cooking, fitness, etc.)
listen to a podcast/radio
listen to music (while reading the lyrics)
try to sing along with music
read out loud while reading a book/magazine/blog/etc.
watch movies/series/videos
record videos in your target language or about how studying is going (progress, problems, etc.)
write a blog (well hello there :))
use apps that make it more fun (duolingo, memrise, lingodeer)
chat with native speakers
actually talk to native speakers ( I know what a crazy idea)
read websites about things youâre interested in
use social media only available in your target language
change the language of your smartphone
change the language of your pc
change the language of your life
play games in your target language (like not necessarily for learning it, I mean just playing a normal game IN your target language)Â Â
take online lessons with teachers that make you forget youâre learning
do a challenge! (I love this one so much)
find a learning group
be active in forums (no matter about language learning or a forum in your target language)
find a language exchange partner. (You should, seriously.)
watch lessons on youtube
read a (children-)book (with audio)
talk to yourselfÂ
think in your target language (a fun way is to tell a story about your life while itâs happening like âI went down the road with a stranger always behind me, who could it be? What does he want? It got quiet⌠too quiet. I tried to keep calm but was it really a coincidence? All in the middle of nowhere?â I know Iâm bad at this but I hope you get what I mean, think of it like reading a book.)
learn vocabs with pictures, type in the word you want to know and ONLY look for pictures, try to feel the word. If you google for âstrawberryâ (in your target language and donât know what it means) look at the pictures, the colours, how could it smell? Make a sentence with the new word. When was the last time you ate it? How was it?
Write a story/book online or just for yourself.
Make a mindmap
Use a topic jar (a jar where you put in notes with different topics on it, you take one every day and write/talk about it)
use social media to find groups interested in learning a new language or your target language
translate texts and act like youâre a famous translator whoâs the only person on earth who can translate your target language (for example if youâre reading articles about historical stuff, act like youâre the only one who can find out what happened back then and the whole world is counting on you!)
try to solve random online tests
listen to a song/audiobook/whatever and write down what you hear
search for words you want to learn and build up (funny!) sentences with them or even whole stories
read comics/mangas/etc.
search for receipts in your target language and pray to god youâre doing it right⌠if not, well you wonât forget the vocab again. Win-win situation. :p
search for language learning groups near your living place and actually meet them (stay safe and check everything before)
listen to children songs (I still remember the first children song I learned in English lessons⌠like⌠11 years ago in 5th grade) these songs are supposed to stick⌠*cough* head shoulders knees and toes knees and toes *cough* sorry where was I?
connect with language learners over Skype (useful groups of course like German trying to learn French, Frenchman trying to learn Turkish, Turk trying to learn German)
write a list (you know⌠like I do right know so I donât forget English)
describe things you see (more fun with a partner)
teach your target language to others
listen to audio while sleeping
take notes in your target language (I donât mean for grammar rules or something like that, I mean notes you would take in your native language anyway)
write a letter (so much better than an e-mail)
write an e-mail (who has time for letters)
learn rimesÂ
learn jokes (itâs also useful for social interaction)
talk to your pets (at least if they listen to you, if I start to talk to my cat she starts yelling into my face)
translate songs and learn the vocab of it so you have more fun listening to it later
think about a topic and write down every word you can think of and then translate them into your target language

hello !! ok so today i want to share some of the things iâve learnt in my years of being a languages student, particularly regarding vocab & grammar. i personally love learning languages and there are many obvious benefits, communication being one of the fundamental ones.Â
tbh vocab and grammar are probably the backbones of any language - they play a huge part in developing your translation, reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.Â
pt i: vocab
have a list. the simple act of writing is one of the most effective ways to retain information tbh ! itâs good to keep a seperate section / notebook / document for this so everythingâs in one place & i personally like to keep prescribed textbook words and words i look up during translations / exercises in seperate places as well, for the sake of organisation. also you can flick back through later and feel accomplished :-)
flashcards. write the word in your language on one side and the translation + relevant grammar info on the other side, and use that to test yourself. quizlet + anki are great online flashcard tools !
mnemonics. short [or long!!] phrases / acronyms /stories are super useful, especially with words with multiple meanings or words which look annoyingly similar.
word / pictorial association. ok word association is obviously easier in languages of the same family because so many words look / sound similar but pictures are great too, especially for more visual learners.Â
this article contains some excellent tips for studying a language with a different alphabetÂ
pt ii: grammarÂ
make up chants / songs [hand gestures can help!!]Â
look for patterns.Â
take the french present tense -er verb endings: -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent.Â
and the imperfect tense -er endings: -ais, -ais, -ait, -ions, -iez, -aient.Â
not too different right?? learn to spot these similarities + use them to your advantage !
repetition is key. sounds boring but repetition is one of the best ways to drill things into your brain; whether itâs verbally, mentally or just by writing out the entire table. i often repeat things over and over to myself whilst doing everyday activities like washing the dishes and it really helps.Â
learn the exceptions to the rule. because there are always exceptions. just learn them. i do recommend making summary notes or flashcards for harder concepts simply to gain a better understanding and also because you can look over them quickly & easily
also just !!! practice !!! often things make much more sense in context, so practice by doing exercises and translations
pt iii: general tips / linksÂ
read !!! reading exposes you to so much more culture + vocab and grammar in the way that itâs used in a day to day contextÂ
similar to above; watching tv shows / movies and listening to music is super fun too + develops listening and therefore speaking skillsÂ
practice practice practice. whether itâs just going over vocab or scanning through a text or listening to music or writing a short passage, try to engage with your target language on a daily basis. trust me, it helps a lot.Â
find a partner !!! learning new things with friends is so much less daunting + you can study together and motivate each other and maybe even travel together one day
apps / sites like duolingo, memrise, omniglot, babbel, bbclanguages and 101languages can make language learning more fun + engaging
+ some youtube channels !Â
each language is unique so for more specific resources, check out some of these masterposts: japanese, latin, spanish, chinese, italian, korean, french, [etc]
remember: learning a language is hard. adapting your brain to understand a whole new set of words and rules is hard. itâs supposed to be hard. but itâs ok to make mistakes. itâs ok. you got this. and in the end, itâs so rewarding - knowing another language is a skill youâll have for life. good luck + i hope this was useful !
