I’m pleased to report River’s candle again burned through the night and then some (note to self: taking photos in the dark outside in the middle of the night is not as easy as it looks haha, I stubbed my toe), my pic from last night didn’t come out very well but I have it for posterity anyway, a light for River in the dark so he can see the way and know people are thinking of him, gone but never forgotten. My son (who’s middle-named after River and takes the honour very seriously ha) always puts something out, I never know what it will be - he’s a talented baker so he made some vegan cocoa caramel cluster things that you can’t see very well in the basket - delicious! - and he’d done a painting of a tiger in art class so he put that out there, guess he thought River would dig it haha. Ok a bit of hokey tradition from our house in this year 2014, peace be the journey River <3
