if the black mage really ends up dying in this new update ;v;.. I hope he gets to see and talk with the mercenary in his last moments since they were the first one who watched him become the black mage we know.. and I believe they were actually really close. In fact, I think mercenary was the person black mage felt most attached to when he was still human
