Tried out an art challenge hosted by @theereboseffect on Instagram (it's basically tryna draw using just the colors from the provided palette. I obviously played this a little slyly by mixing some of the colors to get something new lol). Drew something in 1.5 hours for warming up 'n tryna get used to CSP brushes before getting into my bigger, GRANDER digital painting I'll have drawn as a fanart for my fav F1 drivers lol (hint: it's gonna be of the drivers as Hunger Games tributes in their parade outfit ;>).
So through a friend's recommendation, I played with ChatGPT for the first time, and I had an interesting conversation with it about Alonso today XD I didn't know it could be this fun, especially given how I have no one close to geek out about F1 and my beloved rookie gramps here.
This is the part where I chat with it about the what ifs of Alonso winning Indy500 twice and getting two triple crowns. It's quite unlikely but it was still enjoyable to think about it lol.
Drew him again, I can't stop, why is he so attractive- Need to practice more tho, my current artistic capability does NOT depict how good he looks irl♡

I was thinking the other day of what the current F1 drivers would look like as Hunger Games tributes (two remainder districts tho, cuz there are only 10 teams). Seems like a fun idea, so I might actually draw them like that in the near future. Don't wanna fullly render them all though, but a spending a good 3-hours on each district/team for the art pieces should suffice ;3

I love everything about this but something about Williams "Sorry we only have 1 spare chassis and also we have no money for repairs" Racing as 4 is so fucking funny.
Ngl, I chuckled at that idea too loll. I was gonna have them as District 11 originally (cuz y'know.. budget issues) but then thought they have too deep of a history and tradition in F1 to be given that district just for the single reason that they have no money XDD (I grieve for their days when they were once formidable ;_;) Thought District 4 would be more suitable cuz them having some drivers entering Williams in their earlier years tied to me with how the district have many who're trained at young ages to be independant and effective in crafting for survival. But ideas might change, so I'm always open for different suggestions if they sound plausible enough.

Noww we're talkin'--I'm starting to get used to balancing between caricaturing in my artstyle & the actual similarities! This is likely my favorite one by far cuz of how natural it felt to draw for my hand in tempo and form (especially after ignoring on tryna make my drawing look most similar to the reference pics). A couple more practices and I think I'll be ready enough to draw for my ULTIMATE fanart that's coming soon ;> (likely will spend 12-hours on it)

Turned out quite fine but I ain't there yet with my tempo and form, still exploring between realistic & exaggerating in my style.. my face blindness ain't making this any easier. Looking at references for too long when tryna semi-caricaturize really won't work at my current pace--I keep ending up focusing on the smaller components than how the entire face'd look altogether lol. Gotta practice more to solidify the way I'd draw him consistently so he won't look different in every drawing ;v;
I tell ya, I GASPED when I saw El Padre in that one bare back clip... (Alonso fans will likely know exactly what shot I'm referencing here. Still am searching for the full video, danggit ;~;) So I picked up my pencil and doodled it immediately. I'm afraid I've fallen deeply into this guy, he's alluring in every way. (*Edit: I found the video! Someone had it sent to me :D)

Recently've gotten into F1 and Fernando Alonso INSTANTLY became my favorite (99% sure it'll stay that way too lol). Dude is just so entertaining to watch--a monster of a driver with cunning wits and is a chaotic-neutral memer. How can I not favor this bloke?
Anywayzz, thought I might sketch out some stuff cuz I found his form very intriguing to look at (..yes, yes, I already have 100+ images of him saved in my gallery). This is my first attempt at practicing drawing him in my style (still tryna get the jist of it, gonna take a couple more practices till I'm more confident with my tempo), so the two versions might look off in some ways as I tried exploring drawing his facial form differently here to see which one looks more alike him. But I like how they turned out, nonetheless. He'll def look more consistant in the future as I get used to drawing him. I know I'll have MUCH fun, looking forward to it..♡
