folklore is an album that I am extremely proud of. I started…I immediately was picturing this album taking place in the woods, in an imaginary cabin. In my fantasy, in my imagination, I am not a lonely millennial woman covered in cat hair, watching seven-hundred hours of TV a day. In my imagination, I'm like a woodsy Victorian lady who is wandering through the forest, holding, like, a candlestick holder-thing, collecting feathers to make my own quill to write on parchment paper. It was a whole thing.
