Junkrat didn’t know much about the whole Mondatta situation, but he knew enough to know that that’s the name of Zenyatta’s dead brother. And since Mondatta was not likely to be getting any less dead any time soon…

“Fuck, where’s Zenyatta?” he mumbled to himself, scratching his head as he glanced around. Zenyatta would probably know what was going on, and why there was a small child claiming to belong to a dead robot hanging around. Maybe he got shipped out from the Shamaladingdong temple to join Zen?

Hell. He’d look for Zenyatta later. Right now he had a small child to deal with.

“Athena’s in the walls, not the roof,” Junkrat absently corrected as he crouched down to be eye-level with the child. “That’s why you hear her all over.”

Zen smiles softly, a little thing that’s sweet and honest. “I was close. She is nice, though. She told me that I was safe here, and that I would be taken care of until things were sorted out”. He says this simply. “Are you here to take care of me until then, sir?”

Let it never be said that Zenyatta didn’t enjoy being useful. Even in this mysterious place, full of people he doesn’t really know (and sometimes they talk a little too fast- his conversational English is good, but not that good), he strives to uphold the politeness and morals his brother has taught him.

So the 9-year-old finds a broom and starts sweeping out the entrances, singing the song he hears in the temples of his home. It’s a chore he does there, and so it’s familiar enough.

Until the song inevitably catches someone’s attention.

Not one of the others, he was pretty sure. None of them had kids. Well, Ana had a kid, but Fareeha was a grown adult, so he was pretty sure that this particular child did not belong to Ana.

It could belong to Ana.

I’ve learnt some things today.

1. I have a great hat.2. The hat likes to snuggle.3. It’s from one of my best friend’s games.4. We’ve increased our adorable factor, like, exponentially.
