Iâve cleaned up a lot of the blog so now itâs time to reformat my tags, wish me luck

[ âȘ ] â Thorâs question definitely caught Steve off guard. It was something he HADNâT thought about in a very long time. There were so many new and CONFUSING things when he first woke up, but now he was mostly familiar with them.
The SUDDEN SHOCK of the â modern world â was one thing on its own. But that paired with WAVES of new technology was very OVERWHELMING. New and improved means of transportation and communication; Hell, even new food items one could only dream of. But still the one thing he NEVER really got a grasp on was INTERNET CULTURE. It really was a CHAOTIC place.
He turned to Thor before speaking, â Out of everything, itâs definitely the Internet. â he paused thinking it over, â Itâs not that BAD, at least at first. If you spend too much time scrolling things get WEIRD. â

Sheâs been staring at the guy for a while, though sheâs sure he gets it often. First of all, heâs ripped, like holy shit. Nadine did not fear much, but this man looked like he could kill her by flexing his muscles alone. There was no way that he went around anywhere without catching the eye of just about anyone who could see.Â
But that was not the reason she was staring, surprisingly enough. No, she was staring at his face, because he looked familiar. This was something that Nadine ran into all the time. Doing as much jumping around as she did, she ran into plenty of people, from plenty of places, to the point where they all kind of blurred together in her head. Still, she knows him. But⊠how?
After a good moment of not at all creepy staring, she gets herself up and sits down next to him at the counter. âHey, random question.â A great place to start a conversation with someone she may or may not actually know. âYou used to be smaller, yeah?â / @americasxss
[ âȘ ] â It wasnât UNUSUAL for Steve to be STARED at in public; after all he was a superhero. REGARDLESS it was something he NEVER fully adjusted to.
Most of the time he attempted to HIDE his identity while doing simple things like shopping for groceries, or going out for breakfast. It was almost comforting when people didnât notice him. So here he sat in a diner, WAITING for his breakfast to be made. When all of the sudden a woman PLOPS herself down in the seat next to him. Normally he could IGNORE the other person, but when she spoke it made him SHUDDER. Her voice sounded HAUNTINGLY familiar, but he couldnât remember from where. That was until he REALIZED what she had asked. âYou used to be a lot smaller, yeah?â Did she know him from before? At this point nothing was IMPOSSIBLE.
He took a DEEP BREATH before looking at her. When he saw her face thereâs was just something so familiar? But it didnât make any sense. His brows FURROWED as he looked her in the eye.
âWho are you?â This question, as simple as it was, cane out a lot RUDER than intended. He was just as CONFUSED as she was, it was clear by the expression on his face. Something ODD was happening, and it DID NOT rest well with Steve.

âȘâ It wasnât unnatural for the two to be in some minor DISAGREEMENT. As two very opinionated individuals it was actually commonplace. Yet, for some reason Steve still couldnât SHAKE this one off. He knew he was in the right.
All of this TENSION for such a small and otherwise pointless ARGUEMENT; one that didnât even make any sense at all. â Why do I always have to be one in the WRONG? â It was easy to tell that Steve was IRRITATED by the tone in his voice, â Why are we even ARGUING about this Tony? I literally saw you SWIPE the food off of my plate. I was HUNGRY, but if you wanted something you couldâve just told me? â

âȘâ There is was, the reason Steve was here. Yes, he already knew that, but he still PRETENDED to be surprised. The way that Bruce lit up like a Christmas tree when he talked about upgrades was one of the FEW things that kept Steve calm in this place. Everything was so CHAOTIC, but at least Bruce seemed to be enjoying his job.
It was OBVIOUS how much Bruce preferred the âOLD-FASHIONEDâ way of things, and Steve understood why. It can be comforting knowing that he had CONTROL over something. It was DIFFICULT adjusting to a new era, and especially to new technology. So, of course he didnât mind the OUTDATED way of doing things. Hell, he even joked back to Bruce.
â You know, if we werenât such good friends Iâd think you were calling me OLD. Even so, I havenât lost my shine yet! â he smiled as he spoke; it was a way to show Bruce that he was comfortable with it.
â Whenever youâre ready. â he paused for a moment, â By the way... Any chance I can get a sneak peak of this thing? â

    Maybe she shouldnât be so surprised by the offer, but she doesnât trust it. That was one of the things that she had learned at ACE, people did not exist to be trusted. Steve Rogers had saved her life, sure, but there was no way he had done that without expecting something in return. Thatâs how it always was for her. Surely this had to be the same.
    She furrows her eyebrows. âWhy?â Not that she really had anywhere else to go, at this point, but still. / @americasxss ; plotted.
â Steve knew this was a stretch, he knew she wasnât just going to say yes to the offer. This wasnât going to stop him from at least trying. With everything that had happened he wanted to make sure she was safe. He saw so much of himself when he looked at Rain. Knowing what it was like to be afraid he didnât want to see someone else go through that.
â With the current reconstruction of Shield he wasnât sure how safe it would be for anyone. He was going to do his damn well hardest to make sure all of those kids where safe again. The difference was that they had family and assigned agents to take care of and relocate them. Rain didnât have any of that from what it seemed.
âȘ â â Call me crazy, but I want to make sure youâre safe. Iâm honestly not sure who is trustworthy right now. Ultimately the decision is yourâs, but Iâd at least like you to consider the offer. â
