-you and cregan meet in college at king's landing university

-he transferred in as an athlete on the hockey team his junior year, you're a junior as well but you've been at KLU since freshman year

-he quickly becomes best friends with one of your close friends, jace

-cregan is definitely the klu dragons' star hockey player

-he's a tall, intimidating looking guy. like, he's absolutely gorgeous, but totally unapproachable

-he has a resting bitch face and he's a freaking giant

-plus he's an absolute menace while playing hockey, like you've gone to a couple of jace's games with your friend group and it's like... he's beautiful BUT TERRIFYING

-sometimes you feel like in the class you have with him that he's glaring at you and vaguely, you wonder what the hell you did to piss this guy off

-so when you get partnered for a project together, you're more than a little nervous

-you approach him, like, "hi, cregan... i'm jace's friend-"

-he cuts you off, a bit abruptly, "y/n. i know."

-he seems to realize that sounded rude and his cheeks flush slightly, "sorry. im... im not great with people..."

-and you realize... HE'S JUST SHY

-and he's actually kind of... adorable? he stares at his desk before looking up at you with those pretty eyes and asking what topic you want to do the project on

-over the course of working together, you become pretty decent friends with him, he's actually very sweet and very funny

-he invites you to one of his hockey games, and is EXTREMELY excited when you agree

-he asks if you'd be willing to wear his jersey. he's like an overexcited kid about it

-jace and your other friends the shit out of you both about this, because at the game, when he skates up to you guys, he's bright red at the sight of you in his jersey with his number painted on your face

-after the game, you all go out and he finally manages to ask you out

-he's a stuttering stammering mess, this terrifying hockey player, and he's completely wrapped around your finger

-and when you lean forward and kiss him on the cheek and say yes, he looks like he could spontaneously combust at any minute

-you guys definitely go to a thai restaurant for your first date because he wants to impress you with how cultured he is

-except he orders the food extra spicy to impress you and he ends up drowning himself in thai tea to stop his tongue from burning

-he tries to play it cool, but he's got hearts in his eyes every time he looks at you

-compliments you at least 10 times throughout the date

-you definitely have a new bf even before you leave the restaurant

-you're probably his first s/o, so you'll definitely have to be patient with him, he's new to dating, you're the first person he's seriously liked

-but he's very loyal and honest and kind and he WILL treat you like royalty

-date nights every weekend, no matter what

-always makes sure to book you at a fancy hotel closeby when he has an away game

-whatever your major is or your job or sport, he's your number one cheerleader
