Alex pursed her lips in thought, “So, should I try and avoid it? What is the equivalent of kombucha for you?” 

Amy smirked slightly. “I guess you’ll just have to guess,” she replied.

“You want me to teach you to draw?” Lola said and smiled, “Okay, sure.”

“Heck yeah!” Amy replied. “I would love to be able to draw like this!”

“Really?” Alexandria repeated again, still not sure about it. “And people are willing to drink this for the health benefits? I don’t get why people would willingly drink this.” Alex spoke as her shot flew in the air before bouncing on the side of the cup and onto the floor. She tsked in fake disappointment before replying, “A little bit, the soy milk was better than that. Which cup is the kombucha for you? I’m aiming for that next time.” 

“You say that as if I won’t enjoy it. I love kombucha,” Amy replied with a laugh. “I’d like to see you guess though.”

“If that’s neither of us…” Billie held her breath for a moment as she looked around. “What do you suggest we do then?”

“Back away, slowly.”

“It’ll be fine. I can talk to it, see what it wants.”

“Okay, well then, you do you girl,” Amy replied.

Lola grinned brightly, “Awesome! Hold on one second,” She went to grab her book for watercolours and opened it to find the write pieces, “Oh here!” She handed the book to her, “That page and the next few after that.”

“Wow, these are really good,” Amy said, looking at the pieces. “Can you teach me to do this?”

“Wait–” She placed her hand on Amy’s shoulder, “Hold on. I can use my powers to see if it’s got the intention to hurt us. We just need to get a bit closer.”

“I’m not sure that’s the greatest idea.”

Alexandria made a face and shook her head as she tried to get the taste away, “That was gross. People drink that on purpose?” She asked as she took another shot. 

“Yeah, it’s actually really good for you,” Amy replied. “Why? Was it too vinegary for you?”

“Okay so this is the part where you tell me that was just your stomach and we turn back to go get some s’mores,” Billie spoke, eyeing the other nervously. “Please tell me that’s the case here?”

“Do you hear that too?” Nora asked the other, unsure if she was just hallucinating animal sounds. “I can hear panting…”

Amy turned slightly when she heard animal sounds like Nora. “Yes, and I don’t want to be around here to find out what exactly it’s coming from. Let’s get out of here.”

Alexandria made a face as she shotted yet another cup that Amy had made. “What did you put in these?” Alex asked as she put the red cup in a pile with the other empty ones before attempting to set up another shot. “It doesn’t taste like beer, you didn’t give me something gross on purpose, did you?” 

“Oh, that might’ve been the one with kombucha,” Amy replied. “Figured I’d give you a few that weren’t filled with alcohol.”

Alexandria made a face, “Even if I was lactose intolerant I couldn’t willingly drink soy, the only one I can tolerate is almond milk. Does it taste any different with more flavourful drinks?” She asked, “Would you like another one? You know, as a thank you for letting me sit with you.” Alex offered

“I usually go with Almond,” Amy replied. “And yeah, you don’t taste the straight up almond milk as much. No, no, one is enough. It’s no worries, really.”

“I have some water colour pieces I did of the night sky. Do you wanna see?”

Amy nodded excitedly. “Oh yes!”

“Stars are pretty fun to draw though,” Lola said, smiling, “It took me years of practice to get here though and I’ve still got a long way to go.”

Amy shrugged. “I don’t mind just drawing stars, I quite like stars.”

“Any you’d be willing to spill?”

“I would, but a lot involve blood and stuff, and I’m not too sure you want to hear that.”

Wes took a seat opposite the girl, and gulped down some coffee. “I don’t know why I come here at this time. There’s never a seat available.”

“Yeah, I s’pose you’re right, but this is the best time to get caffeinated!”
