Two mini serene scenes for the weekend. I am deeply tired, and it has been a very, very long term (I know, a long year). I have one more week of work this year, so just trying to de-stress and make a list of everything I need to do so I can take time off with a clear head 🕯✨

Poem stubs and first drafts, which I’m trying to look on kindly and not throw away out of embarrassment. I had a tutor during my undergraduate degree who was keen on the idea of a ‘zero draft’––a space where you can write the most candid lines and not judge it as a draft to be edited but just what it is, an uncontrived idea. I think it’s a nice way to relieve the pressure of the blank page.
