Gelert Beach Party! This behemoth took me over a year to complete (on and off, maaajor burnout a few times) 175+ total hours 😵💫 I completed it in December 2023
There's 35 characters total, and they're all Gelerts (Neopets.) They all belong to my older sister, who commissioned me to make some art of her pets, and I got a bit carried away 😅 The original file size was 5300x3000 😵 I had to downsize it quite a bit just to upload it to here LOL I'm hoping it doesn't ruin the quality too much 🥲 I've added some close-ups just in case, and the split "scroll" images I made of it for my Instagram. I don't know if it's going to work the same on Tumblr, but if it does, cool! This was my first time doing a fully colored, detailed background. I'm not too crazy about some of it, but I do love how I rendered the water 🥹

This was a double attack; two of my friends' characters interacting 🩷 The character on the left is a Skunk Moehog named Broadsides, and the character on the right is an Orange Techo named Tearlach! Tearlach was my first time drawing muscular/detailed male anatomy, and my god was it hard 😵💫 but I did it! (I think!) I'm still very proud of how they both turned out! 🥰

My pet is a Valentine Shoyru (when they get released 👀) with their Faerie Cirrus, and my friend's pet is a Maraquan Acara with their Maraquan Gallion! My pet is a muscian, and he is playing a song on his violin along with his Petpet on her harp, serenading his friend and his Petpet 🫶🏼
