I liked this book it was a nice dip into dark romance, and it was a better experience than some of the other dark romance books I’ve read, which were too dark for my personal taste. This book had a good balance which was appreciated.

The writing is a worded a bit weird at times and the story is fast paced, but that doesn’t detract, and with the fast pace the addition of the bonus stories helps with closing out the story. I also liked how the bonus stories weren’t what you would typically expect.

Overall I can give the book a 2.75/5.

I really enjoyed the book. So far it’s my favorite I. The series. It is really well written and it progresses in a logical manner and things happen for a reason and have realistic outcomes to them. Logan and Graces relationship I thought was really cute, and coming out of watching the ‘Off Campus’ show I was really interested in reading John Logan’s story and it didn’t disappoint.

I do wish that the smut included was more open door majority of the time but that definitely didn’t detract from the overall experience. Meaning I can give the book a 3.5/5.

I really really liked this book I’ve been trying to read more books that feature black main characters so I got this book and it surely did not disappoint. It was super cute and I liked the pacing. The characters were written really well.

I initially thought it was going to more spicy, and it’s not for a reason I don’t mind, and because of it the smut that is in there hits harder and I think made me enjoy it more.

The epilogue I enjoyed it made sense for the characters and had a callback to the beginning of the book that I really liked.

Overall, I give Spiral a 3.5/5

Listen this series is the shit. I love Shane and Ilya’s story so much. Their motivations and reasons for doing things or not doing things makes so much sense and are so well written. I liked the pacing and the strength in which the characters were written. I also liked how I got more background information that was not included in the show. I would def recommend this book and I’m gonna give it a solid 5/5.

I did start this book series because of the HBO show Heated Rivals. I really like the show and I didn’t want to wait a whole week for new episodes so just got the first three books.

With that being said I did really like the book. I finished it in less than 24 hours it was that good. It gave me a better look into Scott and Kips relationship and how important it is to the rest of the series. I now understand why they needed to give them a whole episode. The plot and characters were both really well written and I think is one of the strongest components of the book.

I would def recommend this book to people who like the show and people who haven’t seen the show. As it does well without seeing the show, and with seeing the show it enhances the understanding. Overall I would give the first book a 4/5.

This time it’s for Ride with Me by Simone Soltani. I thought the book was pretty good, I’m pretty sure this was my first marriage of convenience that I’ve read and I like how it was written. The slow burn of them falling in love was nice and well written, but I did expect more spicy scenes because it was billed as a steamy romance, but overall the book was good and I would give it a 3/5.

I really liked the book. The quality of the characters were really good I understood why they made the actions they did and how they got there. I enjoyed the plot especially because I am a swimmer and a fan of diving. The amount of smut was good and balanced well with the rest of the story. A small ⚠️spoiler warning⚠️ the epilogue was a nice surprise cause it wasn’t just marriage and a baby it showed them working on med school and job and being engaged which is a nice change to some of the more predictable ones I’ve read. I also listened to the audiobook while reading which I definitely can say enhanced the experience. I can give this book a 4/5 and would definitely recommend it.
