I conga in pain

and one of them was praising the show endlessly for it's amazing writing how everything was absolutely perfect, and I think as someone who is stupidly contrarian I tried to think about reasons why I didn't really like the ending and the whole show in general but I'm not good at coming up with points in the heat of the moment, especially when he was glazing the shit out of everything lol. I admit I'm a bit of a sheep so if someone's opinion is strong enough usually I'll be swayed by it, and as a certified Jax hater I knew I was gonna have problems with the rest of the show after episode 6 anyway. So after watching some essays dissecting the last episode I think I've put my thoughts together as coherently as I can.

Why have I been pondering this so much? Why couldn't I just let someone enjoy the show and keep my opinions to myself? Idk I didn't have anyone else to talk to about it lol

But I think I understand what he likes about it and I can appreciate what he sees even if I think the entire story is narratively flawed. I totally appreciate the symbolism it's conveying, how it's a cautionary tale of not reaching out until it's too late and how to live, not just survive, but I just can't help but think how unfair the story was to everyone else outside of the Jax show, including Pomni, who is literally just there to aid in showing Jax's sob story for like half the episode and then they shove in Caine's redemption at the last second like oh yeah don't worry he's cool now. Like it or not, it seriously needed more episodes or more time in the oven.

Still can't get over the fact Jax wasn't even sorry for any of the pain or trauma he caused, he was just a self deprecating mess up until the very end like ok girl you still killed like two people and abused everyone else but boohoo you I guess.
