That’s fine and I respect that. I just don’t think I can explain to you how I see their relationship or do it well enough, I guess. I always was terrible at that.

I never said Gar was level-headed or that Maddie and Wally are a lot of the time. I’m also not saying that Maddie can’t and doesn’t work with Wally or Gar. I mean clearly, I do think it works cause I pair her with Gar in Teen Titan universes and have thought about her and Wally together. But my biggest thing is that, to me, she and Wally are too much like brother and sister. To me, they work best in that kind of relationship. Also, the biggest difference between him and Gar is that she is still in contact with/lives with Victor in the Teen Titan universes. In a lot of ways, Maddie becomes attached to Wally like a brother to fill the void of Victor. Though she doesn’t know that she’s doing that of course. But it is part of what makes her see him and her other friends more like her brothers and sisters. By the time Victor comes back into her life, they already see each other too much like brother and sister to date. Plus I can’t see a reason why he would leave Artemis. Maybe if they never got together in the first place but since you’re saying Maddie and Wally should get together as adults, no. Also, I wish you’d stop comparing their possible relationship to her and Gar’s. I understand Gar and Wally have similar personalities but it’s not just the personalities that go into a relationship. It’s also the situations in which they meet. Gar and Maddie meet in a different situation than Wally and Maddie. And this can also affect their future relationship.

You keep saying that they couldn’t survive long term but I think they could. And I don’t want to keep repeating myself since I’ve already told you why I feel they work and I don’t think I can ever make you see it how I do. So I don’t really know what else to say at this point.

Yes, I have actually but my problem with them being a real ship is that they are too much like brother and sister and work best as that in my mind. Maddie and Wally together are wild and don’t really balance each other out. Because they are a lot alike. If I see anyone not lasting, it’s those two. They would be the ones having a small thing and then heading their sperate ways. They both need someone to call them on their crap and not go along with every little thing they do or say. That’s why I like Wally with Artemis and Maddie with Dick. Artemis and Dick are more level-headed compared to Wally and Maddie. Those two can make them think more calmly and slow them down when need be. Just like on the other hand, Maddie and Wally can bring a little light into their lives when they need it. 

I’m sorry if you don’t like Maddie with Dick but I like them together and they make the most sense in the Young Justice universe to me. I don’t know what else to say on this.
