“You fucking liar,” Mandy scoffed with a playful eye roll as she sipped at her champagne. “You two are a mess, it’s so high school! Just say you like her or something. Do it for Beyonce!”

“  you  could  literally  hide  me  under  your  dress , ”  chris  comments  with  a  small  smile ,  it’s  a  compliment  !  “  you  look  really  nice .  ”  she  confirms ,  just  in  case .  

“I know right!” Mandy exclaimed in excitement. She was just a little bit in love with her dress. “And it has pockets!”

      “Are you also obsessed with the yin and yang opposites vibe we have going on? Because I’m obsessed.” Hana motions down to both of their dresses. “Also! When am I going to meet the elusive hot brother? I think it might do him good to meet a raging lesbian who isn’t at all attracted to him.” She hums. // @amandaxhill​

“Oh I’m obsessed,” Mandy laughed in agreement, going as far as to even do an extra little twirl of her golden skirt. She had never worn anything like the dress in her life and could admit that she felt like a princess in it. “Soon I promise,” she said, though she did make a grimace at the term ‘hot brother.’ “I think he’s catching up with his friends.”

“And do you have one?” Parker questioned out of curiosity. He wouldn’t put it past Mandy. She’d definitely surprised him over the year, probably one of the most adept weapons students he’d met. “Sadly, mine was a lot of walking around Roseville,” he chuckled, “The overseas mission sounded like the exciting one. Would have been nice to have someone to talk to.” Instead of awkwardly staring at Cecilia in silence once they’d all been found.

“Yeah back home in Montana. I take it with me on hikes just in case there’s a mountain lion or bear or something,” she explained to him. And she was serious. She never knew what she could come across out in the dense mountain forests. “I just want to get out there you know? Do something and put my skills to the test instead of just like....taking a test.”

      “Because I love you the most in the world and totally not at all because I can’t choose, I’m letting you pick my next hair color.” Hana beams as she holds out her phone, a photo of one box of dark blue dye and one box of teal dye displayed. // @amandaxhill

“Wow way to put all the pressure on me,” Mandy laughed before pursing her lips in contemplation. “Okay well first tell me what you’re gonna wear to the Saints and Sinners party. The color of your hair can’t clash with your outfit.”

       “ YOU HAVE ? ”   he asks hesitantly, at odds at whether to give it to her or not. alec doesn’t have to know, but can he risk anymore secrets from his friend ?   but he does want the weed gone…    “ you swear you won’t tell him ? ”

“Bash I back packed through Asia after prep school. Of course I’ve smoked weed,” Mandy replied with a slight roll of her eyes. She was twenty, not two. People needed to stop treating her like a kid, especially her brother’s friends. “Please tell Captain America? Never,” she promised with a low chuckle. “I’ve kept more than a joint from my brother before.”

      “  𝚑𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚕𝚢  ,  𝚢𝚎𝚊𝚑  .  never  say  never  !  ”  they  probably  shouldn’t  be  poking  fun  at  it  but  c’mon  it  was  right  there  .  “  i  think  at  this  point  ,  anyone  who  wishes  next  year  to  be  a  peaceful  one  is  gonna  get  clowned  .  ”  the  only  peace  gallagher  students  are  going  to  get  is  once  they  graduate  !  or  drop  out  ,  whichever  of  the  two  happens  .

“Peaceful is boring anyway. I mean not that I want bad things to happen!” Mandy quickly stammered out when she realized that she had made fires and double agents and other chaos seem like fun times. “I just meant like fun and safe not peaceful things!”

– “OH, UM, THANK YOU,” ANYA BLUSHES, sitting down entirely. “ it’s…always given me a bit of trouble, so. i don’t think it’s worse off, i just probably shouldn’t have put so much pressure on it. feel free, ” she says, adjusting her weight as she looks over at mandy. anya is the sort of person who would trust a first year medical major with her life, yeah. “ thank you. ” 

“It’s no big,” Mandy assured Anya with a warm smile as she knelt down in front of her. With practiced and gentle hands, she lightly pressed down on certain points and slowly twisted the other’s ankle this way and that. “My diagnosis is that you’ll live. I would just ice it and elevate it later.”

“Do they have miniature ones?” Parker joked. A tiny handheld version, perfect for missions. “You are pretty good at being inconspicuous.” Was that just because she was on the quieter side? He didn’t know. “If they had asked you to, would you have gone? If my mission is any representation, they’re not that exciting.”

“Yeah they have handheld crossbows. They shoot small bolts,” Mandy explained. They still weren’t as easily concealed as a gun though; maybe she would have to rethink her choice of weapon. “Hell yeah I would go,” she replied with enthusiasm. “It would be so exciting!”

       HE DEFINITELY HADN’T BEEN OFFERING IT TO MANDY, so when she pipes up after the other person walked away, bash is quick to stuff it back in his pocket. he’s never felt more like a drug dealer than this moment.   “ sorry, alec would kill me if i gave you any, ”   he smiles sheepishly.   “ just looking to get rid of it. i’m quitting. it’s a bad habit. ”   one he no longer needs.

“Oh come on Bash,” Mandy groaned with a roll of her eyes. Her brother’s shadow lurked around everywhere she went on campus. “He doesn’t have to know. And besides it’s not like I’ve never smoked before. You won’t be corrupting me.”

       “  𝚍𝚒𝚍  𝚊𝚗𝚢𝚘𝚗𝚎  𝚐𝚎𝚝  escaped  double  agents  helping  with  a  high  stakes  mission  on  their  spring  semester  bingo  card  ?  ”  blair  asks  ,  shaking  their  blender  bottle  .  believe  it  or  not  ,  their  aunt’s  retirement  was  actually  on  their  hypothetical  bingo  card  !  it’s  farfetched  but  it  would’ve  happened  eventually  .

“No but I did have alien invasion on mine,” Mandy joked with a light laugh. After everything that had happened, she figured finding a little humor was best for everyone. “At this point I didn’t want to rule it out entirely.”

– LUCKILY, THE GYM’S PRETTY EMPTY IN THE LATEST HOURS OF THE NIGHT, technically morning maybe, and it’s easy to get the back room with the mats to herself. it’s been a long time since she’s danced, and she has to be really careful about the pressure that she puts on her ankle, but with no one watching it’s easy to get caught up in the music for a little while. she can remember why she loved in the first place, just her and the song. there’s a light, effortless feeling that comes with knowing the moves and allowing muscle memory to take you. until she realizes that it’s NOT just her and the music. she loses her place and stumbles slightly on her bad ankle, catching herself against the wall. “ oh, goodness, ” she cringes, “ how long have you been standing there ? ” 

“A little while,” Mandy admitted with a small, but warm smile. “You were doing really good. Did you hurt your ankle?” she noticed the way the other girl was not putting too much weight onto it. “I can look at it if you want me to.”

       “ THIS IS GOING TO SOUND REALLY WEIRD, BUT…  do you want some weed ? ”   bash flashes them a sheepish smile, aware he’s blushing a little, but he’s been in too high of spirits to care.   “ it’s free, mostly because i still don’t know how much weed should cost. ”   that’s what he gets for going to the same dealer for the past two years.    @gallagherstart​

“Sure,” Mandy said with a wide and slightly devilish grin, which was purely on her face because she knew that her wanting weed from him would make Bash squirm. God forbid her brother find out. “What’s got you in such a generous mood?”
