“So what’s this I hear about you giving my little sister weed?” Alec questioned his friend in the same stoic tone that Mandy told him freaked people out. Mostly it was just to mess with Bash; Mandy could do what she wanted, even if he didn’t approve of her smoking. “When did you even start smoking?”

Now that she was back from her break, Lou knew that had lots to catch up on. And since she had missed the party, she had missed the best chance to drink and be nosy in people’s business; but she would gladly make up for that now. “Hey Bash,” she said with an open smile as she suddenly plopped down in the chair next to his in the common room. “Long time no see.”

Stepping out of the bathroom after her shower wrapped in only a towel, Lou had expected Dimitri’s dorm to be empty after he had left her alone in it in order to go have a meeting with Cora Heartfield. But looking up from her phone, instead of no one Lou saw Bash’s surprised eyes and red cheeks looking at her instead. Fuck. That would teach her to use their shower instead of just going back to her own. “Bash!” she exclaimed and quickly wrapped the towel as tightly around herself as she could. “Hey....dude! What’s up?” 

It had been like this for the past few days. Every time Bash or Dimitri would look at him or when they came back to the dorm after seeing Lou or Nudge he could see the slight pity in their eyes. Yes Mimi had left and yes he was sad about it but he didn’t want his friends acting weird around him because of it, even though he knew that they meant well. “Guys I’m fine,” he insisted as they all sat down in the dining hall for something to eat after their workout. “Really I am, okay?”

Alec wasn’t sure if he had ever seen so much pink in one room in his entire life. He felt like he was drowning in bubblegum and hearts but he had to hand it to Kass; the girl knew how to throw a party and when she did, she went all in. But there was some relief from the pink when he spotted Bash. He had last left his roomie back in their dorm, getting everything ready for later.  Bash had called dibs on the room for the night and Alec had no choice but to respect it. “Hey man,” he greeted him. “Where’s Nudge? You got everything set for later?”
