June’s arrived, and so has the rain—my hair’s a frizzy halo as I queue at the post office, pondering whether a Lady Bee digital book, complete with cheeky photographs, would cause a stir. At 65, undressing for a living feels less scandalous than sharing a smile with the clerk (who’s definitely seen it all, yet, not all of me!). My curves and elderly bosom lead the way, navigating puddles and small-town gossip with equal style. Life’s a patchwork of soggy socks, half-baked dreams, and the thrill of being unapologetically myself, come drizzle or digital publication.

Out in the Drizzle

curves and dreams collide,

Elderly bosom, bold and bona fide.

Queue shuffles forward, ideas take root,

Sketches of Lady Bee, sparkling and cute.

Age and rain—neither dampen my glee;

Life’s undressed joy, front of the queue—just me.
