this is an appreciation of luois complexity but also a (hypocritical) despise of his hypocrisy.
the new Orleans ldpdl shows a humanity and a moral conscience that seems ahead of his time (or he tells himself that) and yet his actions are as awful as the ones that surround him, his businesses, the way he runs them is not so different from the reality that surrounds him.
the discrepancy between his morality and his action is so striking that it seems at times absurd. he is in the present day and maybe deep down be knew back then just how hypocritical his actions and his words were and yet how different is he in tvl? in iwtv? is his knowledge of himself serving him or has he just accepted what he (in part) is?
I just wanted to hear other people's opinion
