My dog is so Slytherin that if he’s accross the room and deigns to rise and come to me for a snack, he will stop walking if I eat the snack and stare at me until I show him another one

I went to a presentation that showed by thousands of years of breeding we’ve bred a bit of our own selves into dogs and made them the most human companions of man.

I could never go to Australia because dingos look like normal dogs and I couldn’t trust myself not to try to pet them.

fun facts about dingos: -their heads are disproportionately large compared to their bodies, and as a result their bites are much more powerful than other dogs of similar size. - they primarily hunt red kangaroos (which are fucking huge - up to 2m (6'6") tall and weigh 90kg (200lb)), but they can also take down cows and water buffalo. - They typically DON’T kill sheep though. They attack the flock, and chase a single sheep until it catches up, then veers off to chase another sheep, and so on. Bascially they terrorise sheep just for shits and giggles.
