It took Diane a while to muster up the courage to ask Danse for a tattoo. He has a machine rigged up by the afternoon and not long after he starts on her request. She passes time by asking about the stories behind his many tattoos, and he happily tells them.

Did this really quick on my lunch break because it was such a fun idea lolol

Danse and Cutler were out looking for scrap when they came across an old box of Christmas decorations. The nukes were dropped right before Halloween, someone had to start stocking up for it lol

Danse unrolls a poster with all of Santa’s reindeer on it, Cutler comes up and points at Dancer, “Huh, looks just like you!” They laugh and move on, but Danse keeps the poster in his pocket, looking at it every so often and imagining what the holiday was like back then.

It’s a while before that fateful night, but when the two stumble past the glowing sign after a pretty good day, Danse pulls out the poster and heads into the shop, ready for his first tattoo. Cutler helps get him ready, the location was mainly because Danse was so drunk and laying down was the only option lolol

nuclear winter death claw

i know deathclaws are mainly reptilion but they doo have some mammal genes so having fur isnt fully out of the question.

i think a fallout game set in a nuclear winter would be rlly fun

Feeling a bit nostalgic ⚓️

At first all the tattoos were for fun, but after joining the Brotherhood and leaving Rivet City, he makes sure to remember the story behind each tattoo. Even if there was no specific reason, like him and Cutler were drunk and got whatever was offered, he remembers every single one.

What if Danse was covered with tattoos under that uniform?

Spent a little while yesterday coming up with some designs, most of the items are based on versions from fallout 3 like the lantern, brahmin, and switchblade. This was really fun!! I have an idea for his back too 👀

Bonus - cleaned up version

Haylen joins Danse and Diane on a trip to the Prydwen to drop off all the technology they’ve found. Once duties are done, they head down to the recreation area on the lower floor of the ship.

Haylen asks Diane about the scar by her chin and she recalls her first few days out of the Vault, heading to Concord, meeting Preston and fighting off a deathclaw with an old suit of power armor. Danse is hearing this for the first time, and is pretty impressed!

They tell more stories, laugh, and plan to meet up there again soon,

but,

one trip to the Institute changed those plans.

I was absolutely gutted getting to Blind Betrayal my first time, and so surprised by Haylen. I wish there was a dialogue option to say, “I PROMISE YOU, HE STAYS ALIVE, JUST TELL ME WHERE HE IS!!”

Back at the Bunker 🦅

They're laughing about something funny that happened at Nuka-World, you had to be there.

After that one with the Diane drawing on the wall I thought about Danse asking her to draw at the bunker for him, and here we are! Using his X 01 helmet for extra light lol

Work is incredibly slow right now so I got to draw all day plus wanted to draw him smiling to make up for having him run in my last drawing lolol

Did you know that if you run towards Listening Point Bravo from the Sentinel Site, the Prydwen is in your line of sight for a large portion of the trip as soon as you get out of the Glowing Sea?

"Tell me you're okay."

Diane fumbles to turn on the light and sees Danse over her, holding back the collapsed roof that was above their heads moments ago. They were cornered in a parking garage when a chain of exploding cars put them in a new situation.

Got inspired by @pee-wee-tommy-blog and their superb writing skills for the idea behind this piece, but wanted to practice drawing power armor as well I love the X-01 set
