Elder Arthur Maxson, leader of the Brotherhood of Steel's East Coast chapter. I tried to capture the intensity he projects when you first meet him on the Prydwen.
Trying to create the base body structure for Elder Maxson. Maybe it's that coat, but he always seemed to have a beefy kind of frame to me? And apparently he's only 20 in the game? Wut?!? Life must be hard out there in the Commonwealth (that beard and scar really age him).
Concept design for Elder Maxson. I might need to go back and tweak my Paladin Danse design - I didn't think far enough ahead so the beards look too similar.
so I haven't worked on my Caesars legion series the Raven with Dixie Riveras in some time. kinda hit a wall with that one..
but recently I've moved back into my Brotherhood series and found I've gotta lot of good stories just sitting there collecting dust so why not actually start work on them again..
also I forgot how much I've actually written on Danse Arthur and Erin alone like my god I could get lost in it.. soo many drafts.. also have some Grant Maxson stuff in there too with Veronica and Boone
and my other Oc Alyssa Atkins and her relationship with Hancock..
so I've decided to spend my time back on those again..

Arthur Maxson before & after 20 years of marriage to Erin Maxson

Head canon of mine is Arthur gets old and gains 50 pounds.. after raising two kids and running an entire BOS chapter alongside Erin.
I also like to think the Maxson’s gain gray hair at a young age hence why Arthur is fully gray at only 39..
Also Erin did not age much
Was gonna change up Arthurs outfit but I spent so much time already on these..
Will be a doing a separate post on thier children
