I don’t like Jeverus or any Severus x Marauder ship (though Jeverus particularly). I can’t see it any other way than victim x abuser 😭. After all, James relentlessly bullied Severus and sexually harassed/assaulted Severus by stripping him against his will. I don’t think it’s one of those enemies to lovers ships many claim it to be.

You can hate the marauders ofc, even I got the ick in that part of thp, BUT no one will ever convince me they (expecially James) are the ones to blame for how Snape turned out.

Where on earth does the “Snape Is a Stalker” take come from?

There’s definitely some projection there, because their fave literally created a map that shows the location of every person at Hogwarts and has a cloak to make himself invisible, and has also blackmailed Lily into going out with him and threatened to hex her.

I think the “Snape is a stalker” notion comes from 9 year old Snape hiding in a bush and watching her do accidental magic in front of Petunia at a playground. He had his suspicions that someone who lived in his neighbourhood could also do magic, so he was desperate to befriend her. Of course, Snaters will take this to mean that a lonely, anxious, socially-inept 9 year old boy is a creepy incel 😀
