What’s it like to be in love

A love that makes the sky cry with joy

One where we dance the streets until we crumble into each others drunken arms

In our over run green studio apartment imprinted with the smell of fresh coffee and half smoked cigarettes

A love that a simple look from another can turn into a morning of rolling and laughing

A moment of my spontaneity doesn’t bother you rather brings the child of adventure out of you

When my night falls into the claws of my shadows you cradle my aching body and clear the waterfalls from my drowning hazel eyes

Silence doesn’t bother you because the creative colour of my mind paints the walls beside me and you see it

We put the Polaroid pictures of us in a book it to watch as they turn vinyl so we leave a little part of us in the world

A love like a romance film you would call cheesy but secretly wouldn’t mind if we watched it after all it reminds you of us

So I ask again stranger. What does it feel like to be in love? That type of love.
