“I literally have no life, so it doesn’t matter to me. I’m free whenever.” She grinned. “Woo, psychic.” Her tone was mildly sarcastic.

“Well that’s probably not something that you’d wanna admit so casually. But how about tomorrow? It could be fun.” The grin was plastered on his face. “Come on, be excited!” 

“Alright, then. When?” She smiled. “Apparently i’m crazier than I thought because that’s starting to make sense.”

“Uh.. I dunno. When do you wanna do it?” He asked, tilting his head curiously. “Great! Psychic it is then!” 

“you’re going to cook for me?” She laughed. “And hell if I know. Probably me right now, to be honest.”

“Sure! I need an excuse to fire up the grill anyway,” he replied with a shrug. “Well then, psychics would be perfect!” 

“Not that I believe you can do that,” she teased. “And only crazy people go see psychics.”

“Oh? Do you want a demonstration?” He asked with a smirk. “What makes someone crazy?” 

“Yes, that’s legit.” She paused before shaking her head. “No. But humans dressed up in turbans and beads don’t have any magical powers.”

“Thank you,” he replied with a grin. “How would you know? Have you ever felt the power of turbans and beads?” 

“Nor does toasting poptarts or anything that comes in a bag.” She smirked. “Psychics aren’t real, though?” She said it as if it was a question

“What about grilling steak? Does that count?” He asked with a grin. “How do you know? Have you ever been to one?” 

“Frozen pizza in the oven does not count as cooking.” She shrugged. “Aren’t they usually pretty unreliable?”

“One, it totally does and two, that’s not what I was talking about,” he replied, narrowing his eyes. “Well you never know till you try!” 

“I can cook, actually. I just don’t often.” She laughed, then shrugged. “I mean there are some abnormalities, but they don’t seem to be the cause. No one actually knows what is wrong with me.”

“Yeah, I can cook too. A little bit. Not great actually but I can still do it,” he laughed along with her. “Maybe you should consult a psychic or something?” 

“That’s disgusting. Takeout I can get on board with though.” She shrugged. “I went to the hospital. Many times. I keep getting these weird injuries, but everything is normal.”

“You have insulted my honour!” He exclaimed, giving her a mock-angry look. “Weird injuries? Maybe my multiple personality theory isn’t too far off.” 

“I eat peanut butter and jelly at lest three times a week. It’s cheap and also not terrible tasting. Ramen is the worst. My life is pretty mundane, other than the headaches and blackouts.”

“Did you really say Ramen is the worst? I live off of Ramen! Ramen and take out. Headaches and blackouts are pretty serious though. Maybe you should get someone to monitor you.”

“Well, it’s not like you have a ton of friends either, right?” She eyes him casually, rolling her eyes once more. “I’m a virgin. There’s nothing wrong with it.” As hard as she can, she tries to keep a straight face but there’s no helping the smirk that touches her lips. “I know you’re a douchebag, but I may just be as much, if not more, of a douchebag so it works well.” Clicking her tongue against the roof of her mouth, she sighs. “Threatening.” she corrects.

“I have a pretty decent amount of friends actually. A lot more than I thought I’d have,” he replied with a shrug. His eyes widened when he heard her words. “Wait...you are? Really?” He asked in disbelief. “I’m not always a douchebag though. Its only when I’m drunk which is most of the time,” he replied with a shrug. “You were threatening Isaac?” 

“Uh…why? I’m trying to think of a logical slash creepy reason for it and I can’t. I’m just a normal human girl. With a normal boring life.”

“I just like to get to know people. People are interesting and I’ve decided to get to know you. There’s no such thing as normal and boring. I always thought I was normal and boring and I was very, very wrong.” 

“I imagine that’s an interesting story.”

“Well its a long one. And one that makes no sense but lets not get into it. Either way, tell me some more about yourself. Hobbies, interests, I wanna know what makes Juliet who she is.” 

“He’s not unattractive. But someone stole his clothes, so….it was awkward.”

“I made out with one of my teachers once... That was pretty awkward too.”
