True At Heart

It wasnt like Valen to do this out in the open, he usually relieves himself when he is for sure that he was private. But this time he took a risk, and regretted it. He noticed the other alpha standing there in his attractive glory and didnt know what to do. “Well please say something next time.” he murmured. “Whispers of what exactly?” he asked as the other tried pulling the blanket from him. “What are you doing!”

Theo laughed a little at the males request.”Why do I need to say something, I was quite happy to watch what was happening.” he admitted to the other.  Hearing the mention of the whispers, he shook his head a little. “Oh you know just the usual - you’d be hot together thing..” he admitted with another chuckle. The alpha tugged the blanket again. “I was just curious as to what you had packing under there.”

         jayden  smiled  when  the  other  commented  on  the  smell  of  the  bread.    that  was  the  best  part.   he  loved  the  smell,  and  the  fact  that  whenever  he  left  the  kitchen,  and  went  to  his  cabin,  the  smell  would  follow.   most  enjoyed  the  fragrance  as  well.    “   maybe  you  should,  it  would  be  nice  seeing  you  around  more  often,  ”   he  teased.

Theo raised an eyebrow at the young males words. He was surprised the other would think such a thing. “It would? May I ask why that is?” he asked the other moving forward a little and taking in  another sniff of the scent in the room - mostly the bread but a small part of the scent was Jayden too. 

“I haven’t lost anyone’s interest. At least… not that I’m aware of.” Bodhi’s lips curled into a boyish grin, shrugging. “Maybe everyone is just too nice to tell me.” Teeth came down briefly on his lower lip, eyes briefly drinking in the Alpha’s broad shoulders. Pride was making him bold. “I negotiated well today. Traded for some herbs that I dropped off with the other healers. Maybe it’s just hubris, but I’m really thrilled to see what happens with them.”

Theodore listened to what they male had said and couldn’t contain the little laugh leaving his lips. He remained silent. The other seemed to have enough to say. “Oh really, well I am sure we will put them to good use...” he admitted to the other with a smirk. “All this just because of some trading? I suppose you are rather easy to please, Bodhi?” he questioned. 

Busy in the rose garden, Maxwell hadn’t had the time to focus on much today. His mind was still whizzing about after what was said to him yesterday : ditch Theo and leave the pack, or stay with him and lose his family. He couldn’t be around anyone right now, let alone his alpha. So when he could smell the scent of someone, he grabbed a small blade (the one his mother had bought him for protection) and turned ‘Who are you?“ he growls out, really not wanting to be disturbed 'Oh, thank god….’ he sighs weakly and almost collapses into Theo’s arms in sadness

The Alpha had noticed the change in the other male, but had not approached the subject yet. He wanted to make sure that the other was ready to talk. He headed home and noticed the other - seeming distant in thought. He approached only to stop a little as the words and growl before catching the omega in his arms. The male looked down to the other as his strong arms found their way around his body. “Whats wrong?” 

Despite the pause, Theo relented to Bodhi’s requested with a Fine. Well. Fine was good enough for Bodhi. Besides… with the musky scent the Alpha was emanating now, Bodhi wasn’t sure he could handle the other’s departure at the moment. “Great. Thank you, Alpha.” Bodhi didn’t know quite what he expected, but he knew how he felt, and with something of a cheeky grin, he tried, “So… how late can I keep you out?”

The rooms aura changed slightly before the alpha’s eyes met with the others at his question. “I’m not really sure... I mean... How do I know how long you can keep someone interested?” he mused to the other. He moved across to perch himself on the wall. “Can I ask how you are so buzzed anyway?” he wondered.
