Was going to wait to see if I finished this before the end of the month, but now it's Halloween, so...
(Slay the) Princess redesigns for slaytober!
First the colored ones! I really wanted to explore what they would look like from scratch, having different skin colors and hair colors and such. It was also fun to do some color theming, though the extent isn't able to be seen here.
I hadn't used colored pencils in a while, and that was pretty hard. If I had fancy alcohol markers I probably would've used those. Dark colors especially didn't blend well at all but I'm determined.
I also took some pictures before coloring them. Those and the other princess designs I've inked are beneath the cut.
Also ramblings!
Tower is still very tall of course. Just liked the idea of her being a big beautiful black lady. She's also supposed to be super sparkly, which is hard to convey in the medium I chose.
Damsel had to be as Disney princess as possible, so blonde with blue eyes. (And yes her crown is supposed to be gold, I failed at that)
Prisoner is supposed to have Asian features. And I might've made her skin a touch darker if I could fine tune it.
Witch definitely gave off redhead vibes. And the twin tails give that immature vibe. I'm not sure it shows up well, but she's also supposed to be covered in teeth.
Razor was hard because I think she's perfect already, but I decided to go with this ballerina aesthetic, which you can see I pushed in the MAD version. (Empty Cup would still just be a heart)
I made a Spamtenna kid! She's an awkward dork and has stage fright, but she is way more emotionally mature than her parents, so she stops a lot of their conflicts. Tenna likes doing her hair in cute styles, but she prefers just a braid. Also I drew her as a cube because that's funny.
The charismatic Spamtenna kid designs are all super cute, but I wanted to make something different and pathetic + pathetic = pathetic lol. Idk what her light world form is, but the silly idea was that she's an ad block.
I haven't come up with a name yet, but I love her.

Orange is so cute and doesn't get enough praise, but she's not my type so I can't be her simp. So I created an OC to simp for me!
I liked the concept of an emo Addison, so I expanded on that. This first drawing I tried to replicate their style, and I especially wanted the painterly depiction of their patterns, but that was a lot of work so I quickly dropped it.
Anyway, then I decided he needed a brother.
Red's attracted to pretty much the whole family (minus Yellow, because he gives off bro vibes) but they're all well out of his league, so I'm not imagining anything serious.
Then I decided they needed a sister.
She's rarely called by her actual name, which is why I have that list of nicknames. You might also notice that she exposes her shoulders, despite that being seen in Addison culture as kinda slutty. Her family would like her to cover up, but for her, the most important factor is what looks cute. And long sleeves don't look cute to her! She will throw a tantrum if anyone tries to get her to dress differently, and she gets away with it because everyone coddles her. She doesn't have any part to play in the plot of Purple trying to get with Orange. She's just a cute character foil.

So I got obsessed with making Hollow Knight gijinkas. I had an idea for a human Hornet hairstyle and went with it hard. She's so pretty and cool. At some point I just wanted to draw her in cool outfits.
And then of course I had to make her siblings to match! I wanted to keep that eerie vibe, so they don't really have eyebrows! And I decided that Lace has vitiligo, because that fits way too much.
I also got a new pen with a much finer tip, so it was fun to play with that!

Okay, it took a lot of work to fit it in 10 images, but I did it! This is my version of a Spamtenna Swap AU! Very inspired by @ Diionysan 's over on Twitter, but there are also some big differences. ... I needed Tenna to be large.

So I tried to stick to their canon backstory, at least the most likely version, so here's the timeline,
Tenna has a TV show,
He and Spamton team up and become big shots
Tenna gets the mysterious phone call that drives him crazy
Tenna is run out of his own company and Spamton replaces him
Time passes
The events of Chapters 2 & 3 take place
Not sure if I conveyed it properly, but Tenna is hyperfixated on true love/soulmates, instead of being a big shot.
Their speech quirks are swapped, I just didn't want to bother drawing that.
Spamton is still a complete sleezebag.
He doesn't miss Tenna, absolutely not, why would you think that?
Spamton's show is titled, "BigShot Enterprises Presents: The Spamton Show!"
In Spamton's version of TV world (and it's still technically TV world because Tenna founded it) the gang goes through the "waters" of a show, with ADs popping up as physical challenges, like "islands," because Spamton doesn't care about the actual content.
There's no pink and yellow themes because my idea is that pink and yellow were part of how phone guy made Spamton popular. Here, Spamton never interacts with phone guy, and Tenna doesn't care about popularity enough anymore.
Spamton definitely messed up in the drama with Tenna, and the only reason Tenna isn't furious about it is because he's too crazy to remember that part.
Elnina and Lanino hate Spamton, but they would get fired if they didn't do what he says.
Logically, Spamton knows that featuring a guy like Lanino would help with ratings, but he's too insecure about his spotlight being stolen.
He's okay with Elnina being his right hand because he's sexist and thinks women are an accessory lol.
There's a Wizard of Oz style reveal that Spamton is just a tired little guy.
Spamton is fierce rivals with Queen.
Spamton is moderately more receptive to Rouxls inserting himself than Tenna was, but doesn't let him do anything mildly important.
If you spare Tenna he begs to go with you so he can see Spamton again.
If you didn't spare Tenna, Spamton just dies at the end of Chapter 3 because no one else cares about him in the slightest.
Mike is literally the exact same. Nothing changed for them whatsoever.
Okay. So. I made a deltarune OC. Her name is Espin, she works for Mr. Tenna as a tailor, and she's a mean girl. I wasn't going to post her, this was just for fun.
I thought she would be besties with the Addisons, so I wanted to draw that, but the Addisons aren't super interesting in game. Who is interesting (and familiar to me) is the Addison headcanons that @littlebittybuns uses for her comics! So I drew them all together, hanging out! It also works as fanart to show my great appreciation! So here!
I don't think they would get along right away, but once they connect, Espin fits right in!
She would also help bully Spamton. >:) She isn't personally close with Tenna, but she's nosy enough to find out exactly what's going on between the two, and therefore has ample material, no matter which AU they're in.

Finished the @akanemnon DTIYS! It was super fun. I wanted to keep the vibrant color palette without color picking, which was a bit of a challenge. And I tried to recreate the background, but I didn't like it very much, so rainbow void! Overall, I really like how it turned out!
