(S1) Lance started out as a total flirt towards Allura and she was Not Having it. To Lance, Allura was obviously the princess that would fall for him one day if they save the universe.

(S2) Lance still tries to win Allura over with his pick up lines. And failing miserably.

(S3+4) This is the season where their relationship starts to improve tbh. Allura passes the red lion to lance and he passes the blue bayard to her. This was also the season where Lance tells Allura that she’s the heart of Voltron.

(S5+6) Even though Lot/or and Allura’s relationship developed quickly in these seasons, Allura is now comfortable with Lance’s presence and confides with him at times. Also, with lotu//ra happening Lance finally realizes his feelings for Allura. Genuinely. Allura on the other hand felt conflicted upon knowing Lance’s true feelings since Lot/or is still in the picture. After the betrayal, Allura confides in Lance again and the latter offers words of reassurance and a comforting hug.
