If you are a white person in a racialized person’s life, especially as a partner or close friend, you should go out of your way to ask regularly “hey is there anything you have been holding on to that I did?” and critically both fix it and NOT DO ANYTHING TO PUNISH THEM FOR TELLING YOU.

I'm seeing a lot of tags from white people saying something along the lines of please tell me if I fuck up and like that really goes against the point of the post. Racialized people have to swallow so much racism on a daily basis and it's impossible to tell who is safe to confront.

This goes for stuff that isn't race too. If you are the privileged person in some aspect this is a thing you should be thinking about regularly.

trans women are like genuinely as a demographic some of the most forward thinking people out there and the theories laid out in contemporary transfeminist thought are some of the few paths through all this that give me hope as a trans man, and i could not be more delighted that transfeminism is picking up speed again — nobody will be free until trans women specifically are free, even more so Black trans women, disabled trans women, poor trans women, lesbian trans women; reading from everyone has given name & framework for my desires in the world to come, expanded my knowledge more than i ever thought i could handle, and i have no shame in abandoning my "brotherhood" because i have no desire for kinship with men that don't support this cause, i will live and die by my sisters just like any decent man ought to do, i hope everyone keeps writing and momentum keeps building and shit keeps happening in the physical world, much love i'll be by your side
