Three qualities are from patience:

١. Not speaking about your sins,

٢. Nor about your pain,

٣. Nor about your righteousness.

Praise Allah as He deserves

Send salawat on the Prophet ﷺ

Use Allah’s beautiful names to call Him. E.g., Al-Rahman, Al-Raheem, Al-Khaliq

The Prophet (saw) said, “Every dua is kept back until you send blessings upon the Prophet.”

Face the qiblah

‘Umar (ra) narrated, “..then the Prophet (saw) turned to face the qiblah, then he stretched forth his hands and started to cry out to his Lord”

Raise your hands into the position of making dua

Have faith that your dua will be accepted and Allah will respond one way or another

Ibn al-Jawzi (rh) said. “I think part of the test is when a believer supplicates and receives no response, and he repeats the dua for a long time and sees no sign of a response. He should realise that this is a test and needs patience.”

Ask frequently – don’t lose hope. Remember, Allah’s kingdom is vast, so do not restrict yourself when asking Him for something.

"Whoever increases in worry and sadness must recite; Laa Ḥawla Walaa Quwwata Illaa Billaah.”

"لا حول ولا قوة إلابالله"

“No days are better to Allah than the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.”

A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, are they better or time spent waging jihad in the way of Allah?”

The Prophet said, “They are better than time spent waging jihad in the way of Allah. No day is better to Allah than the day of Arafat. Allah descends to the lowest heaven and He boasts to the inhabitants of the heavens about the inhabitants of the earth, saying:

"Look at My servants, appearing disheveled and dusty. They came from every mountain pass hoping for My mercy. They do not see My punishment, yet they do not see that on no day are more saved from Hellfire than the day of Arafat.”

It was narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim who asks Allaah for something but He will give it to him, so seek the last hour after ‘Asr.”

"..The earth is a mosque for you,

so wherever you are at the time of prayer,

pray there.."

Rabbanā faghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa kaffir ‘annā sayyi’ātinā wa tawaffanā ma‘al-abrār.

“Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and efface our bad deeds and take our souls in the company of the righteous.”

"How can a believer not shed tears at the departure of Ramadan, when he does not even know whether he will be alive for its return?”

"Death exposes the reality of the dunya, so a wise man should not feel contentment in it."

Time after time I've noticed that when Allāh azzawajal wants to draw his slave closer to him, strengthen him, increase him in taqwa and imaan, he deprives him of company.

And indeed the path to Allah is not easy. There will come situations when you have to choose between the Creator and thr creation. The people who you thought loved you will abandon you. And as they leave, they will leave scars on your heart which none can heal except he, Al-Jabbar.

Situations will push you to the corner and there will be no one for you except Allāh.

1. He (SWT) is sifting your circle of people, so that their true colors are now made apparent to you and you are only left f with good company.

2. Your lord wants you to rely on NONE BUT HIM , ask for help only from him. Only to take him as your source of comfort and tranquility.

And wallahi I tell you the closeness you will feel with Allāh is unmatchable at these difficult times.

No matter how much you pray or read Qur'an or fast, you won't feel the same connection with Allāh as it's just you and him now.

You will discover strengths and potentials you never knew you had.

You will learn to be independent of others and their validation, emotionally and mentally.

You will be concerned about Allah's opinion of you rather than theirs.

“The hearts of the righteous people are filled with longing, lamenting from the pain of departure. How can a believer not shed tears upon its [Ramadhan] departure when he does not know if he will live to see it again?

O Ramadhan! Be gentle. The tears of your lovers are pouring out. Their hearts are torn from the pain of your departure. Perhaps standing to bid you farewell will extinguish the burning fire of longing. Perhaps taking a moment to repent will mend everything that has been torn in fast. Perhaps one cut off from the procession of those whose fast has been accepted will be joined with them. Perhaps the one imprisoned by his sins will be freed. Perhaps one deserving to be punished in Hell will be liberated. Perhaps the mercy of the Lord will be granted to the sinner.”
